Not sure how big on Retro handheld emulators you all are but Retroid is having a sale right now and their RP Classic is on sale and is being discontinued. It's a pretty good price drop and looks like a nice capable device. If you're interested in these kinds of devices this might be the time to bite although maybe it's being phased out for a new model. As of this post, only 3 options remain on the RP Classic but I've seen some come in and out of stock (SG 6-button came back in stock briefly and PKM and Retro options used to be OOS before returning this weekend)

I figure @retro junkie Would like to see this!  Awesome Post @Snatcher_L - thank you for sharing this up.

This thing looks pretty crazy and cool.   I watched the video and am impressed in several ways.  For one - The Sega Saturn games looked decent on this system. Another - the games demoed really look good on the screen.  I do see where there would be an annoyance with the black bars.

Overall... this definitely piques my interest.  There are several of these devices in the past few years that are just well done.  This looks like one, even outside some of the quirks.

This is absolutely not for a beginner due to the amount of configuration involved to tweak the performance of each emulator. At least that is the impression I am getting from the video. One would need to chase down the emulator and provide all the games needed to get the full enjoyment out of the handheld. It has a very good price point. I looked up the same handheld on AliExpress and found them selling for well over double the price! That was interesting. Most of your cheap handhelds sold on AliExpress are pre-configured filled with games and only getting to the point that they are able to play PS1 games. And some games are iffy playable. So this handheld does have some good power behind it and looks good for the price if you can get pass the initial setup. I used to be interested in consoles like this and enjoyed fiddling with them. I have had a lot of them over the years and I don't know if I just got burned out, or lost interest in emulation. The last cheap emulation handheld I purchased was a Powkiddy that looks like a Gameboy SP. It will play up to PS1. I guess I am mostly into clone consoles now-a-days. But I am impressed with what Retroid is doing here in their lineup of consoles. If I was in the market for something like this I would jump on this sale in a heartbeat. There are a lot of people out there that are jail-breaking their DS handhelds for emulating. I have not gotten up the nerve to even try something like that.
