@SpartanEvolved sent this one to me... and it's pretty cool, but (imo) not for the price tag. I'd actually really like to try this out.

7.8 inch foldable screen with a 5.5 inch outer screen. Except... it's $2000. The iPhone... and many other phones... are already salty. This is extra salty. For as salty as this is... there are a few saltier options!

I really think foldable phones are pretty cool ... ever since I saw the razer reboot that included a foldable screen.

Donkey Kong Bananza for the Nintendo Switch 2 has just been released and is available. This game actually looks like it's worth buying... albeit $70 is a pretty steep price tag imo. The graphics look pretty good, and the gameplay looks like it could be another solid Donkey Kong game entry into the franchise.

I am actually interested in this game, though I think I'm going to wait to see if it hits a sale at some point.

@retro junkie  -- You can use Discord, Battle.net and Steam as logins for this site so that when you are logged in with those identity providers, you're technically logged into this site as well.

[Time]

I'm thinking of putting a CDG meet up every week on the calendar. 

Time: This would be a 15 to 30 minute time per week. 
Goal: try to get as many people on board to have fun, hang out, create topics and post together. 

We used to do this on our previous format a long ago.  What does everyone think?  Please add your thoughts and comments.

I'd also like to hear from the members tagged below... hopefully we can get a response from a few that do not check as regularly.  It would be cool to have you join:

yeah, they definitely go cheaper on the pc side.  That's why I liked Steam and other platforms so much.  I liked them too much, my backlog is stupid...

@targetrasp I'm glad I bought one awhile back.  It appears to no longer be available... I'm sure it is on Ebay and other places... but it's no longer widely available on Amazon.

That's the hard thing these days... games go away and are no longer available... they become rare and prices jump.

I was curious what Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4 had to say in regards to Super Mario Sunshine for the Gamecube... and here is the review:

@BLUEVOODU I am going to pull out all my 3DS games and start going through them just to see if I have any that exhibits any of the characteristics of the failing flash memory. I have two, maybe three, games that are still sealed, several years old. 

@retro junkie soo.... update... did you find any more? lol 

Also - did you check to see if any of your games were online capable?  Not a ton were online capable... and I believe most, if not all, the servers are toast now.

@CreepinDeth see - I agree... I still liked it.  There were great concepts in there.  Maybe not executed the best,  but I was 100% ok with Han Solo filling in for Ross.  I think he did a pretty good job.

bumping this thread up... it looks like at least Best Buy hasn't enacted this yet.  They seem to have a ton of games left.  In fact, games AND accessories appeared to be more in stock.  They are a lot more inventory heave on the Switch and Switch 2, but the have some of PS5 and Xbox still as well.

I am necro bumping this old post.  I've been playing this game at least a couple years now.  It's a pretty great game.  There are some arguments as to what version is the best... and the players in Splatoon 3 are butt kickers for sure.  However, it's been a blast breaking back into this game as it sat for awhile.

If you don't have it.  You should get it and we should play.

I have made progress in several games now.  I went back and have been playing some oldies but goodies that I'm NOW just breaking open.

1.) Mario Tennis Aces - Switch ... made a little more progress.  @mastermario --> We need to play this again lol 
2.) Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga - PS5
3.) Sniper Elite 5 - Ps5 - was actually crashing out my system.  Had to blow the system out better...
4.) Sack Boy - Ps5
5.) Minecraft Dungeons... making some progress
6.) Played a few Splatoon 3 Switch matches... really a fun game.

I don't know... I'm stoked for this movie as well like @CreepinDeth.  It's awesome hearing the Avengers theme in the trailer in the 1st post too.  I have to agree with you a bit @targetrasp some of the movies fell flat... others were pretty cool.

As mentioned in other threads, there really are a few good movies. I also appreciate them in their own right.  However, many others are not as thrilled.

I have a feeling @retro junkie is going to love this one for some reason LOL 

@SpartanEvolved will tell you... it's great. I was super skeptical.  It's funny... and a really well done movie over all.  Definitely worth a view!

@CreepinDeth --> yeah... it's like they're a mix match of handheld / console... console... but almost a mix of gen 8 and 9... gen 8.5 and 9.5?  It's sort of a weird area... especially since the Switch came out 3-4 years before the Gen 9 consoles.

@CreepinDeth @Grindspine I see the image.  It's loading and good.   I don't know if I agree with Switch 2 being in Gen 10 LOL.  But I guess it does make sense too

We are still hitting the Gevalia Signature Blend and Columbia. However, with the latest price increases, we ended up going back to the Donut Shop blend on the Keurig.

Old Crown has The Bee's Knees here and there.  It MIGHT have beat out the Espresso Blend 101 from Old Crown... it's so tasty 

We just came back from watching Superman... needless to say, I was very skeptical.  I wrote off many DC releases. However, I decided to give this movie a shot.

@SpartanEvolved mentioned Superman was awesome, reviews seemed really good... so I gave it a chance. I did like other Superman movies... it was several other DC movies that soured my opinion of DC over the last many years. Now there are a couple DC movies I want to catch up on lol 

I would say it's worth a view - pretty good to great movie.

I'm on a Switch and shmup kick... and I found another one recently on Amazon.  This time, I found Syder Reloaded - LIMITED for the Nintendo Switch.

@CreepinDeth I wondered about that.  @SpartanEvolved also sent a story via text.   I am wondering if this is something that maybe happened once and by some fluke.  At the same time, I'm REALLY hoping this is NOT a future trend.  This would be a bad future trend...

@Mai Valentine - nice post!  Have you got back into Pokemon Go again?   Do you have others you play with?  If you want, you can use our Discord to help coordinate... It would be 100% awesome for them to join and if you used the Discord for multplayer sessions (etc).

What other thoughts do you have?  Most people I know have now stopped playing again, but... it would be interesting to pick it back up.  My backlog is so large now... it's getting embarrassing... lol 

It's been awhile since I have played any mobile / phone games.  I was playing Zinga Poker and Minecraft on the iPad and iPhone.   Every once in awhile, I would break out Candy Crush like @mastermario lol

The world has changed a lot in the last 20 years.  I still have my MVS single slot original Neo Geo MVS cabinet.  I have not played it for more than 1 hour in the last few years.  I turn it on to ensure the monitor and everything is functioning well.  It has an original working CRT monitor... which takes about 10 minutes to warm up.  It looks great after warmup (pretty standard).

Do you own a cabinet?  If so, what do you rock out?
