We do not have many inbound links at this time. If you have the chance and would like to help with this, please add links (non-spam please) to steam profiles ... or wherever you can / want to.
you can do something like:
<a href="https://www.chickendinnergaming.com">Chicken Dinner Gaming - Chickendinnergaming.com</a>
... this would be for sites that allow HTML tags.
For sites that do not a simple site link should work:
https://www.chickendinnergaming.com
Questions? please let me know. No pressure by the way - This is simple if you want to post links out there for the forum. We are about at a point to start publicizing a little more.
Steam doesn't like the link
http://Chickendinnergaming.com%3C/a%3E has been flagged as being potentially malicious. For your safety, Steam will not open this URL in your web browser. The site could contain malicious content or be known for stealing user credentials
Have you tried linking with https instead of http? It could be saying that because you aren't linking to the secure version of the site.
Also for Bluevoodu, maybe we should also redirect the http version so that you can be everybody is signed in securely?
I copied and pasted the link above, it starts https...

http should already be redirected to https. I quickly double checked and tested. Confirmed. IE if you go to just www.chickendinnergaming.com, it automatically goes to https://. Same thing if you go to http://www.chickendinnergaming.com
Target - looking at your link you copied... you have erroneous text in there too. %3C/a%E.
did you hit the little select next to code to select the entire code for the html link?
I'm not sure why that wouldn't work - that's how I've created most of my links. You could just try https://www.chickendinnergaming.com and leave it at that if the code is causing errors.
Thank you for trying to add this site!
I've copied it with and without the link and steam still does that same crap.
view my steam profile - bcalrogers - and you'll see what i'm talking about.
I'll check that out a bit later this evening.
This is a little strange. I didn't have issues with my profile or CDG group.
If you click the links in my profile and CDG group, do you get the same thing?
Anyone else try and have this issue?
yours works fine, idk whats up with mine
ok... I checked it out. It appears Steam doesn't like the HTML code.
Do this... change it to https://www.chickendinnergaming.com
If that doesn't work for you, just do chickendinnergaming.com That should work.
that worked
Huzzah! :)
Bumping this back up... and thank you to all that have provided inbound links to chickendinnergaming.com
Bumping this up... the more inbound links we have, search engine see... and the better rep we will have for driving new members and traffic.
I will be working on linking with other sites in the coming months.
Thank you in advance for all those with links coming back to this site. I will also work with twitch users and other to help link to them with reciprocal links.
