Title: Does your Nintendo Switch still make that Switch Click Sound?
Post by: BLUEVOODU on February 28, 2018, 12:43:20 PM
Out of the box mine did... I Think it was when I attached the controllers and upon Console Start up when Shutdown (I might be remembering that one incorrectly).

It doesn't seem like my switch makes that noise anymore.     Does your switch?  Or was It removed in an update?

Uh I never really noticed if mine ever did.  Never paid much attention I guess.

Yeah... it was like the commercials.  For whatever reason, mine no longer makes the click sounds.

Here is an article from polygon on it:
Nintendo Switch Click Sound Effect Joy Con - Polygon (https://www.polygon.com/2017/2/20/14668988/nintendo-switch-click-sound-effect-joy-con)

I'll have to keep trying.... I'm pretty sure I heard it in Mario Odyssey.  I'll try that title again. I don't remember hearing it at the console level... or in Bomberman tonight.

I think it happens when you first set up your Switch. You should reinitialize your Switch so you can hear it again.

Just kidding, don't do that, you'll lose all of your data.  :P

LOL I almost tried it too!

It's just weird... I've tried to get the switch to make that satisfying sound again without luck.  will try some more... and yes, the sound is satisfying.
