Say What?! Yes - I bought a BlackBerry Motion. I've been a long time BlackBerry (curve, bold, torch - x2, passport) and iPhone/iPad (iPhone 3, 4, 5, 7) user... I've used Palm Treos (both Palm and Windows Mobile), Microsoft Mobile, Symbian, and several other OS style of phones. Why did I buy a BlackBerry Motion? I say... because why not?! The have given up on the BBOS... to be fair though, I liked the BBOS... they just had a lack of support.

With that said... the battery life and Design of the phone are awesome... better looking than most of the phones out there. BlackBerry has done pretty well with style in the past... and their touch screens have improved over the years. Is there a reason to buy this and not another Android based phone... not really. It's not the MOST powerful Android out there... it's also not near as expensive. And the battery life (as I mentioned) is REALLY good with heavy use. I went about 2 days and I was at 23%. Decided to charge at 21%
The reviews on Amazon are pretty good:

BlackBerry Motion - Top 5 Features I'm Loving So Far! - Crackberry.com* NOTE... the best part of the video is when they flush the BlackBerry Motion and then use it lol....
TheVerge agrees with the sentiment that there's not a lot of reason to upgrade to it... and I get it. Again, the phone isn't the most powerful. I feel the casing is one of the better designed, there's good nostalgia value, and the screen looks pretty good. They certainly did bring the sexy back - Look at the back of the phone on the BlackBerry official site above.

BlackBerry Motion review: It's all about the battery life - engadget.com* note... they note the camera is not the greatest... and it's really not an Uber camera by any means. But with all my camera tests so far... the images look pretty good. Hard to complain about really - you would start getting into 1st world problems.
