Xbox Nostalgia - NHL Hitz 2002

We used to play NHL Hitz on the GameCube all the time.  It's one of my favorite gaming memories for whatever reason.  Even @Grindspine was in on it.  Everything was perfect, in my opinion, especially the Limp Bizkit Air Ride intro song (Rollin Rollin Rollin ... what?!)

I will forever hear the announcers call when I chose my players:

I wish I would have seen this game when it was first out. Im Sure my group would have had a blast.

I didn't really get back into Hockey (quit playing around the 16-bit era) until the 360 came out. Consoles and launch titles were sparse. I think I bought 5 out of the 18 available and NHL 2k6 was one of them. Freaking amazing game, had lots of fun playing with my friends, but it didn't have that arcade feel Hitz looks to have had. Hitz seemed like an NBA Jam-esque Hockey game, I would have enjoyed quite a bit.
