Metal Slug Tactics - Nintendo Switch

Metal Slug Tactics takes the Metal Slug franchise and throws it into a Tactical style of play. It is now coming to the Nintendo Switch in physical form for a limited release.  The price is $35 right off the bat... and that's not bad in my opinion for a Limited Run game.  I ended up pre-ordering it.

 @SpartanEvolved got me very interested in this title when he got it on the PC.  I about bought it on Steam but just decided the backlog was too long.

According to the description, it's more of a tactical rpg... and I'm pumped for this title even though it's not "new."  It is new, However, for a physical release... also released on the ps5. Single player only!

This game still seems to be on track for September 30, 2025 release.   Pumped for it to be released on physical media.   Checking in, is anyone else excited for this game?

I couldn't wait for a physical release and bought it on Steam when it came out. I was excited for it but wound up lukewarm on the game. It 100% didn't get the time it deserved but I couldn't get good at the run and gun melded into a tactics game and lost interest before I figured it out. I also didn't appreciate the roguelike aspect of the game despite generally liking roguelike games.

This game would absolutely hit different if I was looking for what it offered. It's a fresh take on a tactics game incorporating the Metal Slug essence unexpectedly well.
