any ideas on how you'd keep up with who brought on who?
#1052
play it, you'll get your money out of it. It was pretty cool, I'm just insanely unfocused, something has to be an 11 / 10 to get me to sit down with it more than a few times anymore. I only beat WW2's normal campaign because my son was ahead of me and giving me a hard time. Burnout, Ni No Kuni 2, Monster Hunter, Horizon Zero Dawn, Secret of Mana, Sea of Thieves, have all been played once or twice and put down  - Tri Force heroes is in good company!

tri-force heroes didn't keep me like most Zelda games do. I bought it on a whim walking through Target. I'd never heard of it, had no idea a new Zelda was coming out, and someone said, "hey new Zelda."

I grabbed it, took it home, played it for a few days, put it up. It was Zelda game sans story and as much as I tend to skip through dialogue it's weird and unsettling not having to do that in a Zelda game.

HAHA!

I remember buying a Skies of Arcadia for somewhere in the 15.00 range that I bet he'd like to have back now

I just want to know if I can still use my $10.00 gift certificate to EGA
#1059
@Kinikko I've never seen the monster hunter ones, those are awesome.
#1060
@Mai Valentine - is the difficulty really that different between tiers?

So on easy you can just walk up to something and smack it in the face and live?
#1061
Ha, that things worth 2 x 3 times what any of the video games are worth. Maybe you should stick to 30...

I've continually had to stop myself from buying the newest atgames sega genesis model 1 looking console PRAYING this will come to the ps4.

After every "Best game list of 2017" had this game on or near the top I went and bought it a few months ago. It was pretty awesome, in a Zelda Breath of the Wild kind of way but just a bit too stealthy / sneaky for my tastes. I really liked it until after I reprogrammed that big giraffe looking thing. I kind of lost steam after that. It's fun (and really satisfying) to sneak around and stealthily kill stuff but every once in a while I wanna go Rambo on everything, and that typically gets you torn to shreds in this game.

It looks a little like the ship battles on The Expanse.

(there's another space SCI FI for Grind to eviscerate)

30?

By my count we currently have 25 members. Can one person more than double our membership? and if so, how long do you plan on running this competition?

I'd have to put something on my son's psn to pull those kinds of numbers. if 1 out of every 15 of his friends signed up that'd be an easy 30, but do you really want to double our membership and half our average age?

BV's banner ad has project x zone for the 3ds at a paltry 68.97 on amazon with prime shipping!
#1067
I've downloaded it but yet to use it. I've always just used skype for everything. the times, they are a changin'
#1068
I just bought it. I'm really wanting a space game that's not insane to try to learn, and by the reviews this one isn't difficult. Seems like a fun $7.00

It's noteworthy that females now make up the majority of gamers, thanks to apple and android devices becoming a gaming platform. Online is still pretty male dominated in our age bracket but my youngest son plays with a lot of girls and he plays everything from Minecraft to Rocket League, to Friday the 13th. It's funny, a 7 year old boy and a 7 year old girl sound so much alike, even to a 7 year old. He'll start off calling everyone dude and he gets corrected a lot, otherwise I'd have no idea who he was playing with.

I used to have a lot of fun with the boy's club notion in Halo 2. My friend and I would give our girlfriends the headset and let them act like airheads, all while we're top of the leader board. They loved it because they were toying with the fragile egos of the male gamer, and we loved it because we didn't get grief for ignoring our girlfriends. I must say, they got cussed at a whole lot more than they got hit on, but they definately got hit on.

It's funny too how these guys can shamelessly hit on a girl. They're only able to do it because they know they'll never see you and will never have any negative consequences to their actions. I'd bet only one or two in 25 actually has the guts to hit on a girl in real life, and fewer than that are able to benefit from it.

I've completely overlooked this game thinking it was just another fighter.

Gamestop has it for 6.99 but I have to drive about 45 minutes to get it.

The second one is running 14.99 and that's at the mall down the street.

Sounds like backlog fodder to me (if BV ever gets around to the backlogger!!)

So far the coolest looking Amiibo is the Metroid amiibo.

Outside of that the Breath of the Wild Amiibos are pretty awesome. I've got all of the first wave and have yet to buy any of the second...

I've heavily abandonded playing anything with the amiibos. Their functionality is mostly superficial. Zelda basically gives a supply crate for its amiibos but most everything else is nothing more than a new set of clothes or something.

It was one of the iterations of Call of Duty. A long time friend and I always bought COD when it came out and we'd spend a few days blowing through the campaign then play multiplayer as many nights as we could find the time to get online. Neither of us are anywhere near professional caliber but we almost always did very well, and always won twice as much as we lost.

One call of duty on the 360 was the end of the two of us playing call of duty togeather and the last call of duty i played until ww2 came out. We played for 2 hours online and neither of us could get above 9 kills. We tried again days later, with similar luck. Both times there was no "hey man, gotta go, i'll see you later" it was more "$@#*, #$#$#, )$@#)($#, stupid )#$%R()ing (#*# followed by a controller hitting a wall and a rage quit. We tried again a few more times, on our own, neither faired much better. We both swore off Call of Duty after that.

WW2 is my first call of duty since and i've yet to take it online. I enjoyed the campaign so i'm scared playing online with ruien the game for me. To this day I don't think my friend has played another call of duty. I don't think he's bought a console since the 360. I do still see him on steam from time to time, playing everything but games like that.

I love this version of Dr. Smith. There's absolutely no telling what this character is up to nor what is coming next.

Sea of Thieves is an exclusive that came out towards the end of march. It's a pretty cool take on an mmo with a pirate setting.

As of two days ago season 2 has yet to be green-lit.

I'd hoped they'd already inked a multi season deal, but according to IGN everyone is anxiously awaiting word.

@retro junkie I'm with you, I can't wait.

@Grindspine

Wow, first star wars, now lost in space. You must prefer the fantasy side of sci fi. I'll admit Dark Matter went off the rails there towards the end BUT it started pretty well and with a better direction it could have been a great show. Where they left the last season was idiotic, and everything building up to that was same.

@CreepinDeth No joke...

It'd take a solid day for me to input all that data, and I've got 80% of my collection inventoried so I'd have a list to pull from

There's 3ds capture cards. It requires modification to the 3ds. A small black board is added to the bottom of the 3ds with a mini usb for output. It comes with capture software. Sound and video output - versions i've seen only fit the first 3ds and don't output in 3d. I'm sure by no someone has figured out the newer models, it's been a while since i've checked.

The cheap-o's video the screen itself with a (hopefully) well positioned cell phone or camera.

Miiverse can be used to capture screen shots in certian situations similar to how people were using it on the wii u.

All companies will do is be more strict on repair claims... evidence of alteration, moisture sensors, some sort of logger to note any bios changes - there's no way these companies are going to foot the bill for a botched "repair."

On the other hand this isn't manufacturing, so whatever damage done by ESD (if any) would probably only rear its ugly head well beyond the warranty period (if ever). It'd take some effort (or dumb luck) to wipe out most consumer electronics with ESD. I'm sure it'd only be a small fraction of the population that even dares open one of these things up anyway.

I like the idea of being able to own the actual device I purchase and the manufacturer being accountable for a certain time frame barring I use the item in the manner in which it is intended. If I want to take my ps4 apart to clean it out, retrieve that penny my kid stuck in it, or just to see how it ticks, I shouldn't be on the hook for it not reading discs in 45 days.

sweet, I've yet to take it online, anytime.
