Every time I see rogue like in the tags section I weigh purchasing the game against the almost certain damage coming to my poor controller...

I've got it and I can't stand it, although to be fair I'm sure I gave up on it too quickly. My initial impression wasn't the best, it took some tinkering to work with certian games, and wasn't as simple as an xbox or playstation controller to get working so it's in some box with a bunch of other video game crap in a closet somewhere.

I got it, I love it, but it seems like there's a loooong wait between good games.

Zelda, Mario Odyssey, Mario + Rabbids, and Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart (although its hard to count because I had it on the Wii U) have been my main purchases.

I didn't spend as much time with Splatoon 2 as I did the first one but it's way more balanced.

"per se"

You had to have been watching South Park last night. The rerun where the goth kids and vamp kids teamed up to take down the emo invasion was on. The leader of the vamp kids says "per se" a lot.

Or, and probably more accurately, I'm the only man-child that still watching South Park and it's just a huge coincidence!

Trying to 100% a Lego game is too much like work. They're fairly simple to beat but you almost have to read a book to figure out every secret.

Has anyone tried to build a PC lately... This bitcoin craze has made graphic cards almost unaffordable. Just before Christmas I was looking at Newegg and 1070s were around $400.00 while an HP Omen with a 1070 and a 7th gen i7 was $599.00 at Best Buy.  Now that very same computer is $1199 at Best Buy while the cheapest 1070 gtx graphics card is $820 on newegg. I walked out of bestbuy with that computer, a windows mixed reality headset, and a harmony remote spending less that what a lesser version of that graphics card costs right now.

This bitcoin bubble has to pop before I can afford to build another gaming computer, or buy one for that matter.

I saw the sections for AIM, ICQ, etc. were still there. Do any of these still exist? I'm pretty sure AIM died 15 years ago but was officially put to pasture just before Christmas last year. Skype, Kik, Facebook, I'm sure there's more frequented messenger services available.

personally I'd love to see a resurgence of some old school IM
