lol... there's something about Goat Simulator that's a lot of fun.  I don't know what it is... or if the game was really supposed to be anything... but it's stupid and enjoyable to play at times - maybe a couple times per year.  I probably haven't played this game in about a year.

$30 seems ok - There's a lot to accomplish in the game... and Goat Simulator on the go is a pretty cool idea.

lol thanks @retro junkie it was almost 50 today though!  Et Tu Brutus?  ;D

@targetrasp yeah... I haven't been to Raleigh in a very long time.  RTP is the Research Triangle Park - this is where they have a lot of IT training.  At least they used to.   SUper interesting area.  There's not a ton to do... but it's crazy in how all these businesses are tucked into wooded areas.  Driving on the highway is RIDICULOUSLY dark because it seems all the light pollution is absorbed by the trees.  You know there's a lot of stuff there, but you cannot see it.  At least that's the way it was back in 2013-2014.  I haven't been there since, unfortunately.  Almost ALL my training is online/remote anymore... and class based it becoming much more rare.

LOL... you all are killing me.  @Jack @targetrasp We almost had that as a negative with windchill not that long ago.

North Carolina... That's one place I wouldn't mind living.  RTP North Carolina was pretty cool when I went there for training as well.

These challenges weren't too hard. My son and I finished them today - took a small break from studying.  I really needed a break.  We played a few duos as well.

It would be cool to get a few members playing together on this.

As mentioned in other topics... I have fun with the Angry Birds games.  I have downloaded this now and will give it a try.  It's really been awhile... we were playing Angry Birds Star Wars over Christmas break but haven't played it much lately.

Nice post, @Bomber Man

What is the pillage and village update?
#1447
those 2 songs are awesome.  I still really dig holier than thou and through the never.  Sad but true was pretty good... but most was over played.   Those 5 songs there are awesome.   Edit... and Wherever I may Roam... I like that one too.

Have you listened to the newer Judas Priest @CreepinDeth ?

Yeah... I had 1 sink and toilet freeze... but we ended up using a space heater... it was on the outside wall.  It didn't do that until wind and -40ish windchill.  Space Heater... closed the door... and it let loose.
#1449
@Grindspine Could you imagine this!?  lol... robot sounds everywhere while having light saber fights LOL... that would be hilarious.

I have to be honest... I tried it and tried it.  I tried to like these games.   They just aren't my favorite and I Could count the hour on 1 finger I've been able to stay into any one of the games.

I was very excited for Bioshock Infinite.  It came free with hardware I bought.  However, it too fell short in my opinion.

It would be cool if someone could explain it  ;D

it was -10 to -13.... one of my pipes froze... so I was fighting that all day while working remotely.  I finally got it thawed... but it was rather annoying.  1st world problems, I guess?   There's a piece that will need to be repaired... thankfully it's a smaller portion leading to the sink.  Outside walls... and wind... -30 to -40 wind chill... that'll do it.
#1452
dropping pretty hard here... -20 windchill I Think.  Under 0 normal.  -11 high for tomorrow...
#1453
This wasn't a super favorite... but The music around the Solo... and then the bass followed by main riff coming out of the solo... pretty awesome...

Holier than thou.
#1454
I've always liked Through the Never as well:

This is definitely a fun song to play.  All those Hetfield down strums.  Forearms of steel... lol.  This looks like it was a pretty good concert.  I haven't been a big metallica fan since load because they just dove into stuff that I wasn't as interested in... but they still rock out the old stuff well.

In the topic It was bound to happen - PlayStation Classic! I mentioned it would be cool to see other Classic Consoles.

I'd love to see an Atari Jaguar Classic... or a Turbo Grafx / Duo Classic.  They NEED TO HAVE appropriate video outputs and not be designed bad.  They need to be done proper.... plus have a ton more games.  I'm sure they could do an Atari Jaguar Classic and have the entire Library available.  It would be worth it as there are some great and expensive games for the system.  Other games, you probably wouldn't want to buy, but they are definitely ok to play here and there.

What else would you like to see?    Post it up!

Other Classic Topics:
Neo Geo Mini
C64 Mini
SNES Classic
N64 Classic

URGGHH....   I fired it up over Christmas break for a friend and the left eye wasn't working.  SAD FRICKIN FACE!

So... I'm on a quest to fix it in the next few months... after studying.  I found a few articles, I will share them when I start working on this

Man... I Was proud to still have one.  He was thrilled to have seen a Nintendo Virtual Boy as well.

yeah - I hear you.   I was checking back to see if you changed your mind / stance LOL @CreepinDeth

You know... it would be cool to get an Atari Jaguar Classic... or even a Turbo Grafx/ Duo Classic.  hm... maybe this would be a good topic.

I really haven't had a change to explore the new stuff yet.   How are these in the new update?   I guess it's really only a few additions...

That sucks there are no more updates on those systems though... PS Vita... I bought Minecraft on that a long time ago.   It was a good on-the-go version to play.
#1459
hm... WW2 doesn't?   Do you know which ones do @targetrasp ?

We should be able to play Titanfall 2 campaign... that would be fun too... it's a decent campaign.
#1460
@Bomber Man ... these are ridiculously fun.  My son and I play these a lot.   It's hilarious to dig out the ground from underneath to drop your opponent into lava.  The snowballs are fun as well.  The fireworks mode is a bit harder.

These provide intense death match style action... intense mini games they are, hmmmm!   It would be cool to get others from the site into these as well and have some multiplayer fun.  Not sure if anyone else here plays Minecraft though.

SO.... an update... after all this time.

They finally got me another one at the local GameStop.  The Full on Collectors Edition Multiverse edition for the PlayStation Vita.  It is only $18 now ... brand new.  I plan to open this one... and the slightly damaged one will be sold in the future.

Well.... I shouldn't get too excited before I pick it up LOL... @targetrasp This may ACTUALLY have panned out!

Has anyone else tried this on the Switch?

Great game... great format on the Switch.  It plays well...and looks very good.
#1463
IF I had the extra money right now.... I would consider it.  I still have the PlayStation 3 60GB ... I Think it was 60GB launch edition.  I changed out the hard drive about 5 years ago to a much larger drive.  This PlayStation 3 system plays PS1, PS2, AND PlayStation 3 games native on the system.  That's awesome and I wish systems still did this.   I know it's a kick for digital distribution.. but whatever... my hat is off to any company that provides backward compatibility AND support.  My hat is also off to any company that provides free digital game with physical game... or a substantial discount - for current and future systems.  this really should be done.

Thanks for posting this @CreepinDeth

I have this game for the PlayStation 4.  It's a lot of fun... that level where the truck is chasing you and you have to outrun it... lol... that can be frustrating.  That and the level where there's a ton of water and you're running from behind sonic perspective...

Overall... it's a really fun game.

Holy Crap... that was fast.   I guess this thing isn't doing as well as they hoped.  Thank you for posting that @CreepinDeth

Even at that price it's not super tempting.   So much potential lost - though...

Creepin - have you played this any more?

Retro Gaming and Hardware / Re: Bomber Man - Touch

lol... yeah.. my son and I used to play this on DS.   You can play via Download Play.  You only get to play death match... but it's a lot of fun kicking bombs through tunnels that lead to the lower screen.  You play the game on both screens.

I've always played Bomberman for the death match style play.   This game is definitely worth playing

I Guess it's due... we haven't had really cold weather for a few years.

It appears we are going to have -11 either tomorrow or Thursday ... with Wind chill -45 to -50...  :o

Anyone else getting this?
