Bad Batch Season 3 has kicked off on Disney+. This is probably one of my favorite series... absolutely phenomenal and this season does not disappoint.

I've been under a pretty heavy workload lately... sorry I haven't been around as much.  Trying to break that habit!

@retro junkie you know - there was something special about that character building. The 1st series of movies up to avengers could never be replicated. The feels, the stories... just epic.  I think that's part of why people have had some issues with many of the newer Marvel movies.   It's just different. It'll never be recaptured.

I guess I'm at that point where I've resigned that point.  Now I sit back and just watch the movies for what they are. I do miss the original work-up at times.  Hard to believe how fast that time went.

Rebels was great. What'd you think of it BV?

Dude... absolutely love it.  Probably our favorite of the series.  Chopper is also a favorite... a great highlight to the series... funny at every turn.

We are watching the series over again. I need to do the same with Clone Wars season 3 and later.  The ending was a but abrupt it seemed as well

As of February 7, 2024... The Marvels is on Disney+. 

We watched it last night... and I have to say, I'm not sure what people complained about.  It's pretty good.   I really think people are being too down and negative on movies.

We are never going to have the same feels and intensity as the original Iron Man and Hulk all the way through the Avengers End Game.   That was new, awesome, amazing... absolutely well done.  Even then, there were a couple movies more rough that others.

I get it. It's not the same. But it's pretty good.

I enjoyed it. It's at least worth a watch or two for sure.   Now, is it as rewatchable as the original Captain Marvel?  Not exactly.  We were able to rewatch that quite a few times... awesome music... etc.

Those are pretty cool.  I'll see if I Can post up a few of our examples.   I was going to show you our chicken idol (where we spawned in a TON of chickens) LOL...  but that was lost too     That was on the IOS Minecraft.  When they pushed one of their major updates to infinite... it required us to fully update the level.  It went missing after that.

I started this game a while back but stopped. Meant to go back to it. It's from the same people who worked on The Walking Dead Season 1 from Telltale. I definitely liked what I did play. I had about 4 hours into it I think?

That makes sense.  Now that you wrote the above... that's exactly why it looked familiar.  I was trying to place it... well, you helped me place it LOL. 

I think I will check this game out.  It has Steam Deck compatibility... and I see to be playing most of my Steam games on Deck lately.

We had a pretty cool Mario Party Superstars gaming session last night.  The rounds were very close with @mastermario winning the 1st by... 3 coins... literally.  I was 2nd, @SpartanEvolved was third and @Grindspine 4th.

The second session... was ridiculously close again, except for @SpartanEvolved LOL    @Grindspine took 1st, literally winning by a few coins again.  I took second. @mastermario was 3rd and @SpartanEvolved ... well... a distant 4th where the CPU finished for him and actually did quite well LOL 

Until next Thursday night gaming session!   If others want to get involved... let us know!     

It looks like The Marvels are coming to Disney+ Early February ... 7th I believe.  We are going to watch it then.  I will post up after that... honestly looking forward to seeing the movie.

@CreepinDeth --> cool video.  Oddly enough, I thought I replied to this already shortly after you posted it.  They dig into the Sony Q a bit.  In regard to the latency, "The Nintendo Wii U solved this back in 2012."  lol... Go Nintendo      It's interesting there is so much latency and having to account for the Internet and then device latency.  At this point... and a solved problem for over 10 years... it's amazing they didn't plan for this.

yeah... I'm not sure.  I personally chalked it up to his psychopathic nature... and seeing something to "use."  IE seeing her as an object.  I'm not sure he really took to her... but it's more of a control to keep her close because he sees her potential.

I did not watch Daredevil either.  I See it on Disney+ ... but haven't cracked it yet.  A couple of those other side series were Meh and we turned them off.

@CreepinDeth I'll have to check that out and review what is offered...etc.   That does look interesting.

I only have a couple, simple resolutions. Finish more games (I'm going to see if I can at least beat 10) and drink more water. I love soda so I have to cut down on that. Way too much sugar.

LOL @CreepinDeth ... yeah... I did this a long time ago.  Drinking more water and less soda that is.  I really used to dig a Pepsi or Mountain Dew... or Mountain Dew Code Red...  talk about a lot of sugar 

It's time to platinum trophy more games as well!

I put a lot of time in Diablo 3... it was pretty bad at 1st.   After the closed the auction house and brought out one of the updates (forget the time frame of that update)... they REALLY fixed the game and it was a lot of fun.

I just bought Diablo IV and am planning to join you guys!

I checked this game out... it looks decently made and quite possible peaceful?    Checking out the videos (without vetting gameplay)... it really seems like it would be worth checking out... especially for $2.

Speaking of Gameplay ... Did you end up finding the rope OR did you miss it? lol

All episodes are now streaming for Echo on Disney+.  In fact, all episodes were streaming from day 1... something Disney doesn't always do.

Echo was introduced in and picks up where Hawkeye left off.  The series follows the character and shows us a bit more into their story and life and

more is revealed of Kingpin's story with Echo.

This series received a mature rating and is definitely more dark and gritty.

I will say, since we use the Switch mostly in TV mode, fidgeting with the little door to put in a new game cart is more of a pain than on older systems. I have considered sticking with download games with that system. But I will also be selling Breath of the Wild since I have that on hard copy.

@Grindspine I noticed this... why are you or would you sell Breath of the Wild?

This is one of the reasons why I'm such an advocate for emulation and archiving games digitally. Will it ever be the same as playing with cart on a CRT? No. But for me that's okay. I just care that I can still play it because I already paid for it.

There are emulation projects out there that are trying to preserve PS3/360 games and beyond. That's really the only way to do this. Switch already has a decent amount of games that have been dumped. It makes no sense to leave these games behind just because they are digital.

I hope more gamers jump on the archiving train.

@CreepinDeth I really get this more and more.  Like I mentioned, I used to be heavily against emulation.  But once companies made it impossible (and sometimes the market) for people to acquire / procure games, even killing them off, it started turning my opinion.  I'm not all the way there yet... but it's getting closer.

Steam is another one.  I have several Steam games that you can no longer procure.  They have been canned for one reason or another.  However, they're AT LEAST still available on my account to play.
