lol that sucks... how far away are Pokestops for you @Mai Valentine ?

We used to have something in between 2 neighbors houses.. I guess it was a super powerful or awesome Pokémon...  everyone would stop there and try to get it.

I use an iPhone 7 for work - that's what they gave us.  I generally trade up every 2-3 years ... so I've had it since the launch.  So far... it's far superior in touch screen and typing. Processing Power is about on par with most Android phones in what I notice for apps and tasks.  I hate to say it's more stable, but it tends to be.. the apps on both iPhone and Android perform about the same... with some crashing on each OS.

The touch screen on the iPhone really performs well... accuracy for typing is better IMO... and I've put a ton of hours on many different types of phones.  I Don't think I'm biased... I've used iPhone for work since 2010... before that, we used Palm.  Personally I used Blackberry since 2007-2008... after using Palm... and then using Android exclusively for about the last 2 years.

@targetrasp I know what you mean.  That's funny though - liberal college (which most college is pretty liberal) should make you ready for about anything lol.  Colleges these days allow stuff waayyyy to far out.  I get it... they want students to explore and to be challenged.  Problem is they're being hijacked by certain causes (I guess that's always been the case).  So far, the clientele at Old Crown is still good.  It's a pretty cool place to go.  So is Firefly... but the Old Crown Brews and coffees are better IMO.   I'll definitely check out the coffee you linked up.   

The Gevalia Espresso Roast is what we normally get from Amazon - subscribed so far, but cancelling soon.  Subscribing to 6 pounds per quarter is quite a bit.  Definitely saves money though.  I thought about going to our local grocery and giving them the chance to price compete a bit and guaranteeing to buy some off them instead of Amazon to give local businesses more money.

@Grindspine I haven't had that one yet... we will have to try it.  The last one we bought from them was Red Panda.  It was good, but we only bought a half pound as it wasn't as good to us at the end.  Espresso Blend 101 still for the win and our favorite.

As mentioned in @retro junkie post My Wii U Experience... I ended up buying Starfox for the Wii U.  I Also ended up picking up a special edition steel book version of Shadow of War for the PS4.   I love Shadow of Mordor.... I'll post on Shadow of War in the near future.

You are 100% right.  This is the time to jump on the Wii U.  You inspired me to pick up Star Fox for the wii u.  Right now it's $13.39 shipped / new from amazon. 

Some of these games will probably be collectors bait in the future due to the lower production numbers.  Insane you got nintendoland for $0.95 ... good score on that!   It's a pretty fun system ... though the games were a bit sparse.  Some of the games are expensive. Definitely pick up Paper Mario Color Splash, Super Mario Maker, and the Kirby games.   There's a bunch more that are super fun.  I'll post those up later.

The only thing I wish.... Is that the later Wii's and all Wii U's were GameCube backward compatible. My Wii still is.. And that's handy.

I don't know... Total Carnage... That may have been my quarter sucker of a game lol.  Man... it took more quarters than Smash TV.

OOO... NICE @retro junkie What a stash!   White Knight Chronicles is awesome!   Your 25th Anniversary DSi ... keep that... that will be awesome.  My Kids have those (bought for them in 2010)... and they still play them from time to time.  It was a very cool system.

I heard Lunar is cool... I am curious on your thoughts once you get to play it.

Next up - Belize City, Belize... passed right over the Midwest

I Think the rounds are just right.  The rounds normally don't last the full 15 min... but they are 15 min if the neither team scores enough points to win.   I've seen some serious wreckage though were the matches went super fast.

@targetrasp and I had a few great matches the other day.  We need to get @XFaKToRX in there as well!

I saw that it "does not support" original SNES but I guess that doesn't mean it won't work on the SNES 

This game looks like it's a lot of fun - with a manual as well?  Nice!  I checked out some Gameplay vids and agree this looks like a blast.  It's cool companies are doing this.   I wanted to bring out and retail some things like this.  Back when I had the shop, there were some companies re-launching games and bringing new games out ... IE Neo Geo.   I wanted to do that for the Neo Geo CD, Jaguar, and a few other platforms.  Negotiations on the Neo Geo CD went ok... but ended up not happening.

@Grindspine and I went to Fear Factory here in town.  They were awesome.   Back in 1997, we went to Anthrax / Pantera.  We also attended Biohazard / Pantera / Neurosis concert.  BY FAR... Anthrax was one of my favorite bands to see live... so was Biohazard.   Grindspine mentioned that Biohazard needs to be on their own because they were so good... and the concert was very active (mosh pits and what not).  Megadeth was pretty awesome... as was Static X.    They came together back in 1999... that was a great concert as well.

Pantera... I never was really fond of their live sound.  At least the 2-3 times I saw them was a little lack luster.  They were good live... just not the best sound.

hm... I'm not familiar with this game.  @targetrasp is right on the discount games.  The same thing for CDs as well.  ALTHOUGH I don't know why they did it.   I remember a few CDs such as Anthrax Sound of White Noise that sold for $5 at Best BUy and it looked like someone buzz sawed through the case and I believe part of the UPC.

@retro junkie That's a bummer about your Wii.  Welcome to the Wii U though!  It's a pretty good system.  I haven't picked up Star Fox yet... not sure how good it is.  We should have a topic on that.  You just missed the Zleda: Breath of the Wild sale for the Wii U.  They were blown out... not sure if there are any stores with it in new.  You can find it used still... but the price (I think) is about ready to go up.

Don't forget Super Mario Maker for the Wii U.  That's Hours of fun and you can still upload / play people's levels. There are troll levels though.

@Grindspine I'm not sure I'll be able to do it today.   I'm running into work to do a few quick tasks that have to be done on Mondays...    It would be cool to get Diablo 3 going with @targetrasp and @Jack  ... maybe they could join up.
