@targetrasp you bet I've looked into these.  I'll look for the topic here and link it at some point.. but I made a topic about one of them I wanted.  They also had Dariusburst CS physical copy that I wanted. I really wanted that Limited Run version of the game.   

@CreepinDeth - you are right... Digital has been slowly taking, but there probably will always be a market for stuff like this.  It's interesting in how other pro-physical copy gamers have now turned to digital only... partly because they do not have to store games. 

I Think @Snatcher_L also kept an eye on Limited Run Game - is that right, Snatcher?

lol yes... to an extent.  Though I'm a sucker for the included extras they give you. They may not all be 100% worth the money, but they are cool AND hard to get at the second go around.  I have yet to play WWII


btw... I Think we can coop the campaign Titanfall 2. 

Ah Interesting... so you can legitimately just throw ISO's at it and it works (for the most part).  That's pretty crazy - although it makes sense. But then I come back to the point of ... if you're going to hack something to play other emu games... why not save your money and just use your PC.

Still interesting they hacked one of these "classic" machines.

@XFaKToRX posted on Discord that it's $6 right now .... I Think on PSN.  He's picking it up.    Hopefully we'll get him and @SpartanEvolved to join.   Mostly just looking for casual fun lol... it's a good time.

I might be able to play something over the break but I mainly play on Steam since I don't have a PSN or XBL subscription.

The time has come for a topic for all things glowing... RGB Glowing and customizable that is.  Fan lights, Keyboard lights, Different in case lights and many other lighted peripherals have been  the rage since the late 90's.  HOWEVER... not we have RGB customizable lights - In many case... millions of colors and possibilities are possible (though we can argue how practical 80% of those colors really are).

What are you using that are RGB capable?  And what customizations are you using / what colors have you chose for them?

I've been playing with OpenSUSE a bit in another VM.  I didn't have issues installing it in  Hyper-V.  It seemed a bit more intuitive... but I'm having issues right now in VirtualBox.    I don't think I have things setup right and I haven't been able to get beyond the LVM (Linux Volume Manager) portion.  This is server software... not the desktop software.

I didn't have issues with UBUNTU server either.  In fact, I'm using this and CentOS in my certification studies as we speak.  I need a few more rounds of go around with OpenSUSE... but no time for love Dr. Jones.

So far, UBUNTU server has been very intuitive.

You know... I have many of the other call of duties...I think we can campaign co-op some of the other ones as well, right?  That would actually be fun. Its been awhile.

exactly...I'm trying to get @SpartanEvolved to get into this as well.  He has the game lol.  It was good playing today @targetrasp ... maybe we can hop on later tonight or tomorrow.  It is a very fast game to get into... and the attrition matches last about 15 min... so there's a great amount of play in addition to the low wait times.  Great title... it was released at a bad time and was left to the wayside.

I wonder if @Strubes has it as well.

Just Curious on how many of our members work in an Information Technology or technology related field such as programming.


As I mentioned before, I'm looking to start up a tech related site.  This will not be "forum based" but may include a forum in the future... or if I Can figure out how to marry 2 technologies... I'll use SMF or Xenforo combined with this CMS technology.     The site will be Article based - mostly how to and help articles.  I plan to use this as my repository for tech docs in an easily searchable and taggable manner.  There will be a specific format for uniformity and to make Search Engine Optimization easy.   I will be looking for Content writers... for even easy how to articles such as Excel and Word.  I will allow content repositories for your how to articles made for work... OR your work tasks made into How to articles so you can have a place to EASILY access them in the future.  There will be a little bit of masking identities - meaning, not showing actual server or IP names of actual servers used.

If you're interested ... please let me know.  topics will be EVERYTHING covered in IT... and I'll welcome how to Programming help...etc.  So there will be different Linux Versions, IBM AIX, Maybe DB2, SQL, IBM iSeries with IBM i OS (or known as AS400), Windows platforms such as Windows 7 / Windows 8.1 / Windows 10.... even stuff including backups and backup strategies.

LOL... I sort of kick myself paying what I did for the Gamestop Steelbook Pro edition... but I've had a lot of fun with this game so far.  I know a couple Saturdays I played all day.   SOOOOOoooo... we need to break this out too, right @targetrasp ?

Hey @Jack - I didn't see your invite on steam or PS4.

Jack and @targetrasp ... we still need to play Black Op 4.   I've played a lot of Blackout... still haven't won yet... but been in the top 5-10 many times.

I hate to admit it... I paid top dollar for the Gamestop version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Pro... it's the steelbook edition.  I've essentially bought all Steelbooks for all versions of Black Ops.  It wasn't offered for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare... I may have got Modern Warfare 2 with the steelbook.  I have to look.

I know I didn't get Ghost, Inifinite warfare with Modern Warfare 4 remaster, OR advanced warfare with steelbook or hardened versions... also modern warfare 3 was in that list as well - though I'm not sure a steelbook was offered for that title either.

My buddy and I used to play all of these games on PS4... but stopped maybe 6 years ago.

There is some serious skill there... but you've fixed a lot of this kind of stuff up in the past as well.  You could probably do this... you and @retro junkie seem to be pretty handy around electronics.  I don't have the time right now... certification studies again... working on 2 before EOY and 8-9 (If possible) by next May.  However, given the time... I'd like to do more of this stuff and wood working... and guitar playing.

I'm behind the ball on this one... I Really need to get my games off the Wii and onto the Wii u.  Part of me doesn't care... because I DOUBT the Wii U is far behind the Wii for getting kicked out Nintendo services.  I could be wrong though.  I DOUBT the Wii U will be left as long as the Wii was.  And what happens then?  Will they allow us to upload to the Switch???  Some how... I doubt it or they would've provided a path now.

I'm still annoyed... and it's still the most tempting $210 I've stared down.  But it won't happen.  I simply cannot do it and will let this one go.

I'm with you @targetrasp I really wish there was a US release on this with all the original games released in the special edition.  They wouldn't get away with charging $130-145 here though for this collection.   Maybe $60-75.  Maybe.  It still would be nice.

I think I am now at level 37-38 on Titanfall 2 - PlayStation 4 online.  I had a lot of fun playing TTF2 with @targetrasp in Saturday Gaming before he was called away LOL.   We need to do that again soon.

Creepin... do you like Titanfall?  It would be cool to get you on this as well.  Titanfall 2 for the PlayStation 4 is like $7-8 shipped lol.  STill active (lower active but active) and fun.

I went out and listened to the remastered version of Shortest Straw.  It sounded good... but the bass was distracting.  Maybe it wasn't the right version?

Man... still sounds great.  The solo sounds messed a bit... but he seems to get back into it in the middle and then at the end.  Their tone is pretty good live too.  Metallica has always had a decent live tone.

I had a chance to fly around with a plane.... it was a lot of fun.  It definitely brought a whole new dimension to the game.   I Want to strafe all the people. 

@CreepinDeth Sonic had a great sound track.  Very rememberable ... iconic.

I have to say even though it's a midi sound track, Doom 1 and 2 had VERY rememberable songs... as well as borrowing from Alice In Chains and several other groups.   I also really liked Terminal Velocity sound track.... and Descent.  Descent 2 had the 1st CD music - red book audio.

Now... it's basic... but it really had the Nine Inch Nails vibe.  To this day, I Still remember this 1st and 2nd songs played well (Title and Ymir theme).  I know @Grindspine dug this game a lot too.  Pretty basic game by today's standard... but was ahead of its time back in the day. 

When Grindspine and I jammed out... we figured out a pretty cool version on guitar.  Hey Grindspine.... reminder... we need to do this again.  IT's probably been 12+ years since we played this.  I completely forgot about it.

NEAT!  Let's try for that time

LOL.. it's fun to slide and shoot people in the face as well.   Slide and melee... jump and melee... are all super satisfying!

I hope this game remains live for a lot longer.  It's a lot of fun... not sure how many times I can say that... but I'm up to a lot right now.

Its fun and all but there's soooooo many wall jumps necessary.. Call of Duty Infinite Warfare only actually made you do it twice in the campaign. I think I've wall ran / jumped more than I've killed people... maybe because I have to keep redoing them, but still...

You also get to kill people while wall jumping LOL    Done that yet?
