I played some Yoshi's Island this week.  Touch fuzzy, get dizzy!

LOL @Grindspine Touch Fuzzy, Get Dizzy - That's the best level title ever.  Yoshi's Island is a very well done game.  Good choice.

To try to get scheduled activity time... and ran by certain members.  The point would be someone would be for 1-2 hours on a specific day... or given days, we publish it, and try to get many members here at once posting for the hour or time frame.

This could be once or twice a week.  The goal would be to get members here and posting more... PLUS get other people (other than Bluevoodu) active.

We would Announce the topics to members And the person running the time would help respond to topics, create topics, invite people here...etc.  I would participate and help to respond to topics.

What are your thoughts @Strubes @CreepinDeth @mastermario @targetrasp @Grindspine @trkorecky @Polygon @Kinikko @Jack  @Icy @Mai Valentine @Aya-Kun @MegaDrive20XX ?  Would anyone be interested in helping and inviting?

We need to start expanding our member base a bit, work on activity from members, and moving forward.   Post it up!  It would be cool if we could get members to start helping out and we need it.

In the next couple weeks, I'm working on establishing Twitter and a few other social media services.  Looks like no Google PLus though LOL... they be dead.

... I need to catch up on the Clone Wars.  I'm totally out of that.

@Kinikko I'm hoping this game goes free on Playstation Network.  I know they've had certain games like this for free... er a part of the Playstation Network offered games.

I looked at this game again... it looks very interesting.  There's another game called Foul Play they offered recently. We downloaded it and are having a lot of fun with it.

[A couple options to note]

Battle.net, Steam, and Discord logins are activated So you can now login to Chickendinnergaming.com with those services.   If you want to use these services to login, you will need to set them up.  When we tested, it appears you can only choose 1 to login.  You can set this up on the left navigation menu to associate one of those services with your account.  Once you have it associated, you can use those services to login to Chickendinnergaming.com - woot! 

A couple options to note:

**** we can probably turn this off in the future if it causes issues.

If you would like to send me your current avatar (or upload it in a post)... I will save them to the server in case something is overwritten.

I hope this helps... I will add more login services in the future including Twitch... and maybe Twitter, Facebook, and a couple others.  Questions, please let me know.

yeah.  I agree with you @targetrasp   My last Xbox 360 Reach edition barely got any play.  Yeah... @mastermario @SpartanEvolved @Grindspine and I finished Halo ODST.  We played a lot of Reach and even some Halo 3.  I Started playing Halo 4... but fell out of favor shortly.  The console just didn't get a whole ton of play.  Gears of War 3 though... I loved that game and would play more.  It would be cool for a remastered version playable online and on PS4 

The Master Chief Collection sure is a luring game collection.  Pity they had such problems with it at 1st.

We need a Gears of War 3 topic.  This was my favorite Gears of War by far... and I wish it was still an active game. I haven't played it for 5+ years.  The last time I played, there were too many trolls - and the player base wrecked anyone that wasn't playing it 4 hours a day.

So many good memories though.  I played Horde mode with my friends... and we had a blast.  I travelled up to my friend's place in Chicago and we would play it the entire weekend.

The Launch of Diablo 3 for the Nintendo Switch is getting closer.  It was confirmed not to long ago as we covered in the Diablo 3 Confirmed topic.

This game offers 4 players on 1 console offline Multiplayer.  That's pretty cool... I Thought online as well, but I'm not sure how everyone would login - at least 4 players on 1 console Offline though.

Thoughts on this game coming out?  Anyone buying it?  I'm starting to question if I'm buying it at this time.  Though I am excited for a portable Diablo 3... I've always wanted Portable Diablo.

I put in about 6 hours of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4: Black Out Mode.  It's pretty fun.  If so... go to the Black Ops 4 thread and post on it!

@targetrasp Did you find anything on the 2P modes?  I doubt it ... but I'm HOPING It will be awesome and include an online 2P mode.  We need that in some of these games.

I still haven't bought into the Nintendo Switch Online. Maybe I'm being stubborn... idk... it's not a priority yet.  I'm not happy though as I Cannot play Splatoon 2 Online for the Nintendo Switch because I didn't pay for Nintendo Switch Online yet.

Anyone else buy into this?

@mastermario  You have Pokémon Sun for your 3DS?  Do you still play it? How is it?

To be honest, the one I really got into and played madly was the Pokemon blue. For the original gameboy. I'm not sure why. I found that one addictive for some reason.

See... I started with Red and Blue.  I think I was addicted to Blue as well... but cannot remember.  I know I bought yellow last... well... I think I bought it last lol    It certainly didn't get as much time as Blue.

@Jack are you still playing silver?

OK... I have yet to play this game.  It was mentioned by @Icy that it was included in the SNES Classic Console.

I wonder if they'll release Star Fox 2 for anything else... such as Virtual Console.  I searched that and don't see anything so far.   I'm hoping they do as I want to play it.  Speaking of that... I Think we need a Star Fox 2 topic 

@retro junkie Even the collectors editions do not include manuals.  Shadow of the Tomb Raider collectors edition with Steel Book for $90 didn't include a manual.

I was pleasantly when the Nintendo Switch  Flashback 25th Anniversary Collector's Edition included a manual... a color one at that!!

So it's hit and miss.  Like @targetrasp mentioned... it's an easy place to save money, but IMO they should keep manuals in the collector's editions at least.  But... it looks like even collector's editions are hit and miss.

@Bomber Man - btw... I Want to kick my son's butt with Isabelle. 

The best would be if she had a stapler move for her Smash Attack.  Something where she would staple a bunch of items to the forehead of the opponent super fast.  Then they would go flying off the screen.   That would be great.

@SpartanEvolved and I were playing the PC version... but consistently had issues getting into games with people.   Live body count was so low... it was just difficult.

Right now, I'm looking to pick it up for cheap for the Playstation 4.  Rumor is... there are still 2000-4000 players still playing and I'd love to get in on that action.  It appears to be about $9.00 on Amazon:

@Bomber Man There are no new cars or content in the game.  It's just a remastered version of the Burnout Paradise for the Playstation 3.


Speaking of this... I need to get the online achievements still.  I want to platinum this game.

I've played this game for about 6 hours now.  If I see you online, I'll invite you.  If you don't have it installed yet... throw it in and let it update.  Even with "god" tier Internet, it takes a little bit.

Gradius for the Super Nintendo is a great game... Like targetarsp... seeing your screenshots made the memories run back.  The part you have pictured where the floor cannons shoot up at you was a pain in the butt.  Great stuff... but a pain.  The Game Boy Advanced version revisited this  where there were a ton of floor cannons to work through while you fought other stuff on screen.  Unless you had the bomb that dropped down... this was a very difficult part.  Strike that... It was difficult even with those bombs.

Might I say I'm a little jealous of your time off.  I need time off now and fast    It's been "go go go" at work and everything else.  I've probably been working until 630-730 each night... sometimes logging back in until 10-1030 due to tasks going on.  It needs to slow down a bit.

@mastermario @targetrasp @Jack @Kinikko - Circling back to this topic... did any of you pick up the Master Chief Collection any time recently?

I'm wondering how the online servers are at this point... if there are many people playing still... or if it died off.  I'm still tempted to buy an Xbox One for this game... but probably won't due to lake of time lately.

@Kinikko have you picked up your Xbox One Lately?  Just curious if you started down  the path of playing it again.  If you have... what did you start playing?

Well. My installation is under 60GB. Not sure why case said 140GB.

Holy crap - this game requires 140GB on disk.  I had to remove cod ww2 ...

Nice - Did you dual boot?  Or install Linux only?  Do you do much at the command line level?
