I actually have not picked up Titanfall 2. Is it any decent? I played the first one a little bit on 360.

@Jack IT's a blast on the PlayStation 4.  There is still decent activity as well.  It's definitely worth the $9 you can score it for on Amazon.com.  If you liked the 1st one, the 2nd one will not disappoint.  It was such a good game... just released at a bad time between Call of Duty and BattleField 1 back in 2016.  Such a good game... but you have to like the Titanfall style of play.   IMO for someone new, it's worth the $9 to try it out.  There's a pretty good single player Campaign as well.

Let me know if you get it... we can join up!  We also Need to join up on Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on the PlayStation 4.  I tried this weekend.  I was on it for a long time.  @targetrasp  has it as well. We could all join up.

Another one for First World Problems

I called Gamestop... was on the phone for 55 min.  The lady setup my return for Texas.  She corrected that... stated, take the game to the local Gamestop (I had to nail down which 1 of five).  she said take my id and delivery confirmation and they will hook me up.  The confirmation I received was to print out a return label... so I actually am not sure what I'm supposed to do right now.  I Called back because my call disconnected and there was a 60 min wait.  The local Gamestop store didn't know what to do... so... I'm going to call their manager tomorrow and try to figure this out.

PS4 and XBox One are not compatible with PC , right?

Post Up Overwatch in a new thread @targetrasp  - we need this posted.  Where did you get it?  I want to partake.

@targetrasp  - I don't know... it's good, but we know when we have several years of good... bad will be on the way at some point. My guess is with the split of Government powers, we will see headwinds on the business side... and the tail winds will stop.  Not saying that's 100% certain, but I THINK we will see that.    Plus ... we've been heated for awhile now.

I hope that's not the case either... but then again... I don't need to spend money this year.  It needs to go to other stuff.

@retro junkie I hear you... @mastermario , @Grindspine , @SpartanEvolved , and I would go deal shopping here and there.  We used to have a Thanksgiving LAN... but haven't done that in about 4 years (I think).  On the last year we did that... everything was different.  There were NO DEALS at midnight. All of them were done.  SUCKED.  The odd thing too... EVERYTHING was open.  Just 1 year before that (and all previous years)... EVERYTHING was closed until Midnight.  Restaurants and everything.    We used to go to this 1 Pizza shop that was open ... it had to had been from 2008-2014 because nothing else was open LOL.    Times have definitely changed rapidly.  That also came back to bite stores as they didn't sell stuff as well with their new schedules and the frenzy was gone.

@MegaDrive20XX told me about this one a few months back.  I have yet to try it... but he was pretty excited for it.   I like the sound of your initial play through.   Is it still holding up?

This game is on my radar and is definitely tempting.  I think I'm a bit more tempted to buy it on the Nintendo Switch right now due to portability.

I figured this would be something that @Grindspine would dig a lot as well.  It's should be up his alley art wise.

Thankfully all of ours still look like a regular Game Stop and Not Hot Topic yet.  Axiom Verge - PlayStation Vita became available online... so I ordered it through there.

But even the cart process was a bit cumbersome and shipping was a tad off putting.   With that said - we need a Gamestop topic  In case someone wants to start it

Alright... Finally made it to level 12 (I believe) in Black out for Call of Duty: Black Ops for the Playstation 4

I have made more progress in Rainbow Moon for the Playstation Vita.  A topic needs to be created on this game... It was left behind for awhile.  I picked it back up recently. 

@Jack Any chance you picked this title up as well?

Alright - I'm still loving Titanfall 2 AND Call of Duty Black Ops 4 for the Playstation 4.

However, I bought Blue Rider for the Playstation 4.  It's indeed SHMUP... and I'll post a topic on it soon.

@Grindspine Honestly... PC Gaming doesn't win in this realm either.  Now... you may find some user based servers running longer, but game servers shutdown as well.

Phantasy Star Online on the PC is only online because users made it so.  IF it was up to Sega, it would be dead.


It's cool that Nintendo kept the Wii services running for as long as they have.  Also Per @retro junkie 's comment... it really shouldn't be that hard to move Wii Store games to other platforms... OR make them available immediately on the Nintendo Switch for Download.  That's the part that's dumbfounding.  There's absolutely no reason to not be able to do that.  But instead, you have to move the Virtual Console games from the Wii to the Wii U.  I know this process didn't work for me when I bought my Wii U.  I had to start my Wii U from scratch.  Now, I'm let trying to figure it out and work on a contingency plan just in case it doesn't work out.  I guess that's another First World Problem for the Thread in General

We wanted to update you on a planned service shut down, which impacts online access for Warhawk, Twisted Metal, PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale, and Sound Shapes. This has now been extended to January 31, 2019 at 12:00 AM PT.

Following this shutdown, Warhawk will no longer be playable unless <a href=" https://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps3/current/settings/connectwireless.html?emcid=em-st-168299&TextLink">the PS3 system is set to LAN mode for local network play</a>.  For Twisted Metal and PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale, users can play the campaign offline as well as local (couch) multiplayer in split screen mode. For Sound Shapes, users will be able to play the campaign and all DLC purchases as well as create their own levels, however, users won't be able to share their levels with the community or download community created levels.

This brings up the discussion again about achievements you cannot obtain anymore:

LOL  . Yeah.  But never the less ... it really does help toward hosting and upgrades.  Right now that's all out of pocket and will continue to be, it just helps out a lot.
