@CreepinDeth My Buddy just got his NVIDIA RTX 2080Ti.  I refuse to spend that much money though. Other gamers say "it's worth it..."  but I don't know.  That really ups the build cost.  It really does look cool.

I just don't understand the reason for the high cost - if lack of competition is it or what.  From what I understand, There's still the potential of an AMD and Intel team up in the next year (ish) time frame.

I'm starting to wonder if AMD still has the spirit of ATI.  ATI used to bring out awesome cards.  NVIDIA was having trouble keeping up in the 2007-2010 range.  Then it seems like they put on a full assault since 2013 (ish) time frame.

@Bomber Man I never really got into Roblox... what is the appeal of Roblox?

Is anyone getting this?  I think @targetrasp mentioned he was.    From what I've read and heard... the game is multiplayer only. 

I'm looking at picking up Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for the PlayStation 4 tonight.  Not sure though... I really haven't intensely played a Call of Duty since Black Ops.  In fact, Black Ops 3... broke it out twice.   Modern Warfare Remastered - awesome fun... had a lot of fun with this online... but only broke it out a few times.  IT was great with the Christmas themes lol.  WW2 is still sealed.  I bought it with all the intent of playing with @targetrasp  - I bought it because I saw him playing it LOL.   

Blackout Mode looks great - that's the new Battle Royale Mode.  It is interesting Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 delves into Battle Royale mode - It's not surprising but it is interesting.  It shows how much Battle Royale has taken over.  I have bought all Call of Duty games on the Playstation so far.  If you are, what are you looking forward to?

I checked out Zorin... I'm going to try to do it via VMware or virtual box.   Next up for me are Linux certifications - so doing a few things right now with Linux.    I will be doing Linux / SAP work in the near future.

LOL... you know... I remember these discussions years ago how they were going to push out games incomplete and then patch them.  I know old school games just had bugs in them... but it does seem like games are getting pushed out with more bugs these days.  Or maybe there are more people playing and testing them?  Or something.

After a little time now, how well has this re-release been received?   Still going well?

A topic for the times... What should be done with Trophies, Gamerscores, and achievements that are no longer possible  to Achieve?

My opinion is - they should just give the trophies, Gamerscores, and achievements to the entire player base that has the game installed. You cannot delete them at take them away from the people who earned them already.  I don't think it's good to delete the record of those achievements either.

I started noticing achievements like this early on in PlayStation 3 History.  Games like Lord of the Rings: Conquest had online trophies to earn, but they could not be earned anymore.  The trophies were online play based and the servers were shutdown rendering them unattainable.

Feel Free to post up those you can no longer achieve.

If you liked the ones on the Genesis you'll love Mania. I'm still playing and I love it. It really scratches that nostalgia itch for me while being fresh and not some rehash. I can't recommend it enough.

@Polygon I'm going to check this out.  I've been seeing Sonic Mania on Sale here and there.   It's been awhile since I've really played through a Sonic game.   And good job training the next generation in Mario Kart LOL. 

@Strubes Your Playstation Rank just keeps exploding lol.    I need to platinum a game again.. it's been awhile since my last one.  I haven't platinumed many.  What's annoying is you cannot platinum certain games anymore because it was dependent on online features that no longer exist.   I'm going to start a topic on this.

So far... I made a little headway in Dead Star and played a few rounds of fort nite. The last 2 weeks have been incredibly busy ... I Don't expect this week to be better.

@targetrasp Unfortunately... this game had a very limited Physical Copy release.  Would've been good to pick up.   I think it may have been Japanese release only, but I would have to search to know that for 100% certainty.

LOL... I looked this up - it has a BASIC interpreter as well.

I probably will skip out on this one though I'm sure many are excited for it.

I am pretty pumped for the Smash Bros. Ultimate.  If we get a few members to purchase it... we should arrange times to play.

This was one of the free Playstation 4 games.   I guess I missed this title at some point, but it's a pretty fun beat-em-up style game.

Has anyone else played this game?  Thoughts on the title?

IF you haven't picked it up for free with PS PLUS, I recommend downloading it and playing.  It has a pretty fun 2 player co-op style - very similar to old Double Dragon... and side scroller beat-em-ups of the past.

I downloaded Sparkle 2, Another World, and Foul Play.  Qube is queued up... but not sure I'll break into it for awhile.

@targetrasp  I checked this out.  The video doesn't surprise me.   Also, It was hard to see the SNES Classic comparison.   I'm not sure it really looked better as he stated.  BUT... he obviously saw a difference.  Maybe it's more blurry?  But...not sure.

As far as the controllers... yeah... I get that.  The Neo Geo CD controllers were a lot more expensive.   On top of that, those microswitches would wear out on the controllers.  Customers would trade them in ... or sell them to me and other people would buy them for parts.   It was VERY common to have faulty microswitches.  When customers traded in ANY Neo Geo CD gamepad, they were tested 1st.  With that said... I'm not sure how I feel about SNK creating controllers without microswitches.  $25 is not a bad price... and I'm sure they would be $20 more at least with Microswitches.

Clicky Thumbsticks is very hard to make.

You know ... we need to get to a status of being able to demo some of this stuff.  It would be cool if we could designate someone to get the device and do a thorough review.  Just saying it would be cool - take turns demoing stuff and putting the reviews out there.
