Did anyone see this yet?  Check this out. It's pretty crazy:

Lego Harry Potter had some of the best sets @targetrasp and @Bomber Man .  They were pretty awesome. Howard's castle was a lot of fun but was complicated. 

We mixed hogwarts castle with spongebob, lotr, minecraft (minecraft dragon was attacking and all evil was against good characters).... And a couple other sets lol. It was a good battle.

I don't remember this boss fight.  Why was it so challenging?

If anything .. It's  lot of fun.  We will have to join a few matches - things are starting to pan out now. A few more hurdles to go for more free time... almost tribute.

I think you'll have a lot of fun with this title. 

Lol. I still want to play with Marth as my character.    However, I'm going to have some fun kicking someone's button with Isabelle.  That is going to be awesome.

No joke!  I was worried about that too... I'm buying from amazon...i was waiting for best buy.   Same problem with Neo Geo Mini -  glad they offered more.

Tekken Bowling? is this a thing or a joke between hoosiers?

Ooooo it's a very real thing. We've played several times lol. @Grindspine uses yoshimitsu.  I cannot tell you how annoying that is lol. 

Grind knows what you need to do to play it. It's been awhile. It first appeared in Tekken Tag Tournament.

The loot lake thing is pretty crazy.  I tried that last week... you can do some pretty funny things jumping around and shooting people.

@retro junkie You make interesting points.  Fighting games outside a few these days really haven't caught on.  PS3 King of Fighters XII and XIII didn't catch on.  I bought them but barely played them. 

Playstation All-Star Battle Royale -- it was fun and died off somewhat quickly.

GAmes that did catch on but were short lived (in my opinion) - Tekken Tag Tournament 2 --> This game was a blast.  And Super Street Fighter IV and V ... and the thousand iterations.

The N64 era fighters were unique and the platform received Mortal Kombat 3 and 4.   At the time... Street Fighter didn't have as much of a hold on the market anymore.  SNK fighters were SNK fighters, but they only truly played well on an Neo Geo.  I have yet to see a VERY GOOD port until more recent times - like 2005 and beyond.   I really liked Killer Instinct.  This title alone made up for the lull in the genre.  The Mortal Kombat games were pleasing... and I liked several of the different styled fighters you noted in other reviews.   You have to think... we weren't too far off Virtua fighter by the time frame... so there was a technology element going on as well -  the rush to 3D fighters.

There are many good fighters out there now, but as you point out... the genre dipped.  In a way, it flat lined.    In many ways, I was still playing the Neo Geo and those fighters.  Other fighting games just didn't hold to the same level as Samurai Shodown series... King of Fighters... Fatal Fury series...etc.

lol.  I Forgot about Crash Bandicoot @retro junkie - I haven't heard anything on Crash in a long time.

@Grindspine They just need to make Tekken Bowling and be done with it.   Castlevania: Symphony of the Night would be a great addition!  I hope that makes it.

No - that was Saruman's tower. Gandalf and Saruman's battle it out there. And it's in Isengard.   

LOL... @retro junkie This is actually a cool thing.  I'm surprised and idea like this hasn't caught on more.  Seriously... More Demakes need to happen.

I made progress in Spiderman.  Very cool game.

We haven't done it for awhile... but we used to get big sets and build them every Christmas.  Attention was focused else-where over the last few years.  But I still bought my son cool sets.

I Think we need to rebuild the Battle for Helms Deep set.

I missed purchasing the Tower of Orthanc one Christmas... We really wanted to build that.  And it was out of production ever since then.

Ah, that makes sense. I've never heard of that before where a special edition got released first.

@CreepinDeth yeah - I'm sure I've seen it in another release.  I want to Say it was a Blizzard game.... but I Cannot recall what it was.  I paid extra to get the game early.  It's very rare though.

SO moral of the story is... do not mix your pre-ordered games with other merchandise LOL. 

Welp, I was born in '89 so I can't really contribute much to the 80's discussion, but when I was growing up K'nex were a hot thing and that was peak cartoon Mario Bros time so I was very content haha.

LOL..  @mastermario That's no Excuse!     So... K'nex was a thing?  I thought they didn't catch on that well.  I could be wrong on that.

I collected baseball cards.   The Strike of 1995 (I think it was) really killed card collecting.

@Kinikko  - yeah... it looks like they rated it that was because it was slightly more violent than the 1st.  Thought some people were scratching their head at the teen rating.  I Was as well... it didn't look like it should be rated teen.   Weird...

Lol that would figure @targetrasp ... now... was that sarcasm? Or truth ... or both?? 

 Lol ... you know what would be fun? I've hockey online playable with other Nintendo friends. That would be a lot of fun.

@CreepinDeth and @targetrasp --> I'm holding off a bit as well.  Killing me with Splatoon2 right now.

FortNite is free to play though - any free to play game seems to be free online as well.

What classics have they included so far?

So... can the gaming library be expanded?  IE can you add more library packs or whatever to the PlayStation Classic to expand the gaming library?

Yeah... I've had a problem completing Expert as well.  So... no... I've actually not completed an Expert 100 Mario Challenge yet
