I ended up not purchasing the season pass and opted to put the money into the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Pro edition for PlayStation 4 from GAmestop.  That cost a pretty penny... but I was jones-ing for the steel book.   Don't ask why...  It's something I've done since the original Black Ops - on any edition I could get.  WWII I was not able  to get the steel book - if there was one.  I didn't research if there was.

Maybe if the Call of Duty: WWII Season Pass content goes on super sale, I'll buy into it.

LOL and eligible.  YOU play VIDEO GAMES... so that means you're now UBER cool  :))

Did you install COD 4?

I played a crap ton of Titanfall 2 on Saturday night - I didn't see you on.  I Think we should try to get @Jack and @Strubes in a game as well

In this one, there are checkpoints.  So you may have to repeat some tasks.. but you don't start all the way over.   I'm pretty sure the original was that way as well.

@retro junkie - I think the music is pretty good.  I still don't own this game - decided against buying it so far... but still plan to pick it up.

For example:

What are your thoughts on that one?

@targetrasp I haven't seen them anywhere.... maybe they were brought back and sold wholesale somewhere.... or they are wholesale in the smaller shops - if those shops truly exist anymore.  Does Gamestop still have the endless supply of the portal?

@retro junkie How were they broken?

#1986
@targetrasp Linky?  ;D  I will  take a look into it.

It's going to be a little bit before I buy a new headset unfortunately.  Other things need to come 1st right now.

This game is a lot of fun on PS4 - it's free right now as a part of Prime.  I suggest Downloading out of this world on the PlayStation 4.  Good stuff.

My son was playing this game and he got pretty far pretty fast.  Faster than I did... it made me rethink the game.  I think I Was thinking WAY TOO HARD on the game and not just playing it.

He was laughing at some of the ways the character dies - like the tentacles hanging from the cave lol.

@Bomber Man What functionality do they provide?  Just a replacement for your backpack?

LOL... if they are a replacement for your backpack... would they be a taxidermy backpack?! LOLZ  :))  Now... how to get those items into the taxidermy backpack?

Good job on the post @Bomber Man The new patch is a lot of fun.  @targetrasp you should give it a try.

The Added Zombies are a blast and adds a difficult element to the game because you aren't just jumped by other people now... they also have to contend with the zombies lol.   We had a lot of fun with this Friday.

Have you tried this game yet?  My son and I played a ton of Fort Nite Friday.

Maybe COD 4 tomorrow.  Though I see your account playing Fort Nite as well lately. lol.   I think you're using your son as a cover  :))

Peanuts ... lightly salted. lol.  They are $1.69 a can at Kroger.

I ate all my chips.  Though I have a good stash of Honey Crisp apples now.

NOPE.... I misread. That's not until next year.   So... Smash Bros Ultimate will be it outside Psyvariar.
#1995
yeah... definitely give it a run.  Spider-Man on the PS4 is a fun game.  Some stuff is repetitive... I figure you would want to know that.  I bet there will be decent deals around Christmas time.
#1996
I'm decent at the game.. I placed top of my team tonight in attrition.   So... if you've played Titanfall before and are decent... you should be ok.   I've been about mid list ever game.  There are definitely some games with UBER wreckage to be had (aka I was slaughtered).  It's a bunch of fun though if Titanfall is your cup of tea.  I feel I already got my $9 worth.  I plan to keep playing until this game is no longer playable online.
#1997
I'll look into those. I'm definitely looking into something that will work with PS4 and PC Now after my Logitech G35 headset bit the dust.

Turtle Beach seems like a pretty standard way to go... some of their designs have been odd... but I hear they sound pretty good.   BY odd.. I mean like Logitech mice have been odd looking over the last few iterations.

LOL...   Thankfully... I only had to worry about my son running the iPad into the fireplace.... screen 1st.  ;D

We need to get people together to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 - Playstation 4.   That and to play Diablo 3 again.

I pre-ordered Psyvariar  Delta for the Nintendo Switch.  It's a pretty cool Shmup... so I'm looking forward to it launching end of November.

I'm also pretty hyped for Smash Bros Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch.  This may be the last game I buy for 2018.. though that Metroid is coming out.

@Jack @Strubes @targetrasp @Kinikko .. Would this be a game you'd be down to play?

$9 shipped at Amazon.   Still about 1800-2400 people playing at a given time.  Lots of fun - if not, it's cool.  It would be fun to get a group playing here and there.

Wish I could get @SpartanEvolved to buy and play lol.
#2001
Lol. So what about you playing it?  @Jack Mentioned on discord he had it. I think @Strubes has it. Not sure about @CreepinDeth though.

It would be cool to get some casual games going. @Frodus mentioned casual is better. Speaking of Frodus, I haven't seen him for awhile.

Either way ..  We could hop on black out squads or something.
#2002
Nice @targetrasp I'm curious how you like the smash stuff after revisiting.

I bought:

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 - ps4
Titanfall 2 Ps4.

I'd really like to get a few people from here on Titanfall  2 for the Playstation 4.  Such a great game
#2003
@targetrasp @CreepinDeth yeah.... fine... I'll agree... it's one less thing to obsess about.  And I cannot tell you the last time I actually looked at a manual.   ;D

@retro junkie - Good stuff... I had a few of those Lunar games come through the shop complete like that.  I haven't see those in about 12 years.  Those are nice games.

LOL... This brings up too many IT stories of how other users would use their cell phones while at Urinals, on the toilet in the stall...etc... just chatting away.   We refused to touch those user's phones and devices  ;D

General Discussion / Re: LEGO?

I hear you... the London bridge took us 2 weeks of solid work to finish. That was 4000+ pieces.   IF I remember correct... the large falcon is above 3000 pieces... the ultimate is like 7000+ pieces... which is crazy!  That would be awesome to build that one.

That's the 1 problem (not sure if problem is the right word) with a lot of Lego sets.  the custom pieces that only work with that set and you cannot really use them for other stuff.  Although I've seen some really creative uses for those custom pieces.

@targetrasp it really depends.  There are some we kept together...  others we ripped apart and put back together.  And then there was a time we combined spongebob, Harry Potter, minecraft, I think some lotr, and I think regular Lego police / robbers / firefighters.  There were some other random mini figures in there as well. Lol

That was a lot of fun to put together.

I regret not buying up  a lot of this stuff and holding it when I Was 1st in business. LOL...  Hindsight is 20/20.   Maybe some of my old documents still exist to reference... but I remember there were a couple vendors at the time offering loads of Wonderswan stuff for cheap.  I don't remember exactly what they offered.  At the time, I had NO CLUE what the wonderswan is and there wasn't a big demand for it.  It was an interesting little system and one that was never added to my collection.

I also had a TON of Faselei US Neo Geo Pocket Color games... I Wish I would've bought all the vendor had and held onto them.   They fetch a very nice penny these days.  I had a corner on the market at that time... and I think I had over 100 in stock at one point.   Hindsight... I Would've bought them all and held them.  In fact, all the NGPC games.  But there is a cost to holding as well.   Another topic, another time.

Cool Post @retro junkie - It's very interesting to read on this system.  Not a lot has been mentioned about it over the years... maybe that's changed now?  I remember it being a super obscure system.

10 sucks. keep it as a collectors item and find it used somewhere when its cheap, and trust me it'll get cheap because it sucks.
LOL... maybe I should do that.  It has the Bowser Amiibo with it and is in the original box.  Hm...  I will definitely think about that.  I have about 5 years before the cost shoots up if it does though.

Retro Gaming and Hardware / Re: Star Fox 2

I still like the original Star Fox.  Star Fox 64 was really cool.  I never had a chance to play the Gamecube version.  Weird enough... I never owned it either... but it was one of those titles I wish I had bought.

Either way, I would hope Star Fox 2 isn't boring  :o  Probably would be a little sad if it was  :'(  lol...  I still want to play it though for the experience like @retro junkie

How was Star Fox 2 when you played it @targetrasp ?
#2010
@targetrasp   Interesting... do you have a pic of your display?    For whatever reason, I thought this game hasn't come out yet.  I guess I've been inundated with release after release...

It's interesting to see how many games have "displays" and have gone beyond just the game itself.  I'm hoping to pick this up at some point on sale. But won't spend more than $35 (I think... who knows).  The concept looks great and the videos look like the gameplay is fun.  I like hearing you like it so far... hopefully the fetch quests don't become awful.  This happened in several games I've played where I got tired of fetch type requests.  However, I really dug the requests in Zelda: Wind Waker.  others Didn't, but I really enjoyed sailing back and forth.

TLDR... cool stuff... I'd like to give it a try.  Especially if there's coop and what not.
