I still have a hard time believing candy crush has 3000+ levels... that's crazy.

I haven't played much lately ... but I made some progress in Zelda a link between worlds 3ds.

@retro junkie  what did you find out?  Many tvs of today have black as black but the other black colors aren't handled well.  I have an older plasma still... pretty heavy ... and handles the black colors well.  This is a big reason I didn't jump to newer led tvs.

It seems some of the oled and qled tvs are doing better with this.

Overall are you still pretty happy?

I got out of the word on the snes, completely skipped flashback, maybe i'll get to play it this time

@Kinikko is right...  the swag in this game is pretty good.  Too bad other games aren't like this. I want the metal game.

@Jack surprisingly ... pokemon has been a decent series.

I dug red, blue, and yellow.  I played those quite a bit.  My son is currently playing a new version. I checked it out and it's quite a lot like the old formats. I'll check it out and post up the title later. 

My cousin and I used to play pokemon stadium for the n64 ... we should create a full on topic on that soon. It wasn't my cup of tea at the time but it still was enjoyable.

@mastermario how long did it take you to get there in overwatch?

I've made life progress lately lol... my son and I scored some good kills in Fortnite.  I really haven't gamed much in 2 weeks trying to tie up some life stuff.

If you go the portable apps route, you can use Windirstat and have it analyze the HD. It will tell you what files are taking up the most space. It's very handy.

Also... good call on using cloud office.   THOUGH I am not a fan.  It flakes out - and editing stuff is kind of laggy.   This was at work.

So ... I haven't had the best of experiences with it.

@Kinikko yeah... and Prince of Persia.  remember how they were advertising Prince of Persia as having amazing animation?  Ie many frames of animation for an action performed?  This also was a concept behind flashback. 


Definitely great pre-order items!   My bad @targetrasp lol...  I haven't been able to buy yet.  But I need to... I liked this game a lot 

@targetrasp a couple quick wins -  check the paging space and spacing file. See what you can reduce there.


Also look into the hibernation file.  There are ways to get rid of that.   They tend to be gigantic. 

Look forward any Windows features that can be uninstalled.

32GB is not much space for anything Windows.... Except for windows servers... that's not so hard. But I know it can be done -  you are very limited and your computer will never stop telling you that you're running low. 

@mastermario Any word of them bringing this mode back?  OR new modes they are going to try?

FortNite's Infinity Gauntlet mode was legit... good stuff.

@Aya-Kun Yup... still didn't get that one.  Need to get back into this game.  I fell off of it for awhile.  I'm going to platinum the game.


Anyone else get this and playing through it?  I have the MP achievements I need to complete... maybe we can all complete them or help each other to acquire those trophies.

@Strubes I need to start downloading the PS+ titles again.  I just haven't kept up on it.  I think the last couple rounds I haven't been interested in the games... or I just didn't look.

I'm kind of torn. I'm going to want to open this to play but I also want to keep it sealed because I'm a collector. Hopefully they're not so limited so I can pick up two.

I liked this game when I 1st played it many years ago.  I'm pumped for the re-release... thought it's $40.   @targetrasp ... this one isn't showing up with the pre-order discount with prime either.

What I like about this... there is a limited edition numbered metal cartridge, a retro styled metal case... and other stuff.  This looks like a pretty legit limited release.

@mastermario yeah... it's just kind of weird.  For some reason, Doritos and Mt Dew aren't weird.... lol... but Nissin Noodle Cups are.  But why should the be?  I guess it's a double standard.

How's the UI? My biggest complaint about android devices are their UI. Amazon puts such a shell on top of android it's hard to call it android. Samsung has straightened up a lot, but it still can't touch Apple. If my kids use my phone on a car trip or something I have to spend 10 minutes reorganizing it. there will be apps scattered out all over the place. i'll have to slide three screens left to find my gmail app and two screens right to find the internet browser. I find Bixby completely useless and sliding down from the top does two different things depending on how you slide, which the phone (or my fingers) sometimes has a hard time determining which its trying to do.

@targetrasp in my opinion ... the UI is pretty good.  Apple has better on screen typing in my opinion... but This works.   The apps are scattered a bit like an Android always is... but I organize all my stuff... so that works out.   I had to organize my apple stuff as well.

I'd rather not give Google more business which is why I try to use other manufacturers.  But... I hear their devices are pretty good.   

The motion has pretty good ratings... if you have a moment to check it out... check it

yup, Parker played it until he got hooked on fortnite. It's rarely seen play since and I've yet to pick it up

@targetrasp we should play that multiplayer at some point.  give it a shot!  it's a lot of fun.
