I am evaluating the same software and have been testing it out.   We will see.  There are pros and cons to both.  What's going to matter most is logins with other social services... and tie ins with the 2 new ideas mentioned on the board.  There are drafts and stuff in progress... but it's going to take a bit. 

I don't play the PS4 all that much. That being said I installed a 2TB HDD in mine. That's probably the smallest I think should be in a modern console.

@Polygon You are 100% right.  2TB should be the standard drive... especially for the price.  I'm sure the companies would receive a good discount with the quantity they pull.   However, 2TB 2.5" SATA drives are still somewhat pricey.  Price per GB is only $0.04 for 1 of the drives - 2TB Western Digital Blue 5400RPM.  Not sure how they would perform in a PlayStation 4 though. 

@CreepinDeth I didn't realize they capped it at the Kernel level.  That's interesting - It makes sense to provide a consistent experience.  However, it limits the upside potential for those who want to upgrade... which sucks a bit.

LOL... I started having fun with this game recently.   I picked it up as one of PS Plus's freebies.   I haven't put a lot of time into it... but I started golding all tracks on the 1st path.

It's a decent game.  I doubt I ever would've paid full price for it... but it's definitely a $10-20 game.   It has decent play value... and some of the crashes are just painful.  I love it when you do a jump... think your going to land it perfectly... and then you go face 1st into the platform ahead of you.  I still crack up at that any time.   I see @Strubes and @Aya-Kun on my leader board.   That's a cool feature.   Your times better watch out... I'm going for them 

@Aya-Kun - have you totally dropped off this game?  I need to get back into it and 100% complete it.   I fell off all gaming since May - a lot of life stuff had to be completed.... most of those tasks are complete - just 2 last hurdles to accomplish and then there will be more game time.

@targetrasp what about you?  are you still playing... you and your game ADD lol.

I go to a local coffee shop here called Old Crown. They have a wonderful variety ... but I'm partial to their Espresso 101 Blend.   I have them cut it for French press and I French press the coffee.   

Lol... I was talking to them about what I do with the French press and they're like "you French press Espresso 101?? How do you sleep?". It's good. It's tasty. It's bold... and I drink it black. This is what I'm drinking this morning.

Did anyone buy these?  I accidentally ran across them the other day and it peaked my interest.   They appear to be 'based off of Starcraft Ghost'.   I still wish they would release Starcraft Ghost -  ah... the vaporware of the mid 2000's lol.

Both PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch pre-order appears to have been taken off pre-order for now... of course, just before I pre-ordered.  The listings are still on Amazon... but it cannot be pre-ordered for now.  Hopefully we will see this game launch.

It would be an IT miracle of freak nature to not have to have an image saved in some way... and be able to post it in an online application.

LOL... Mario Party 5  - depending on condition - is worth a lot.    Crap... I bought Mario Party 4, 6, and 7 used / mint last summer (2017)... and they were $125 for the 3.    Not sure about Bomberman 64.  You should buy it at that steal though.  Please make sure to follow the ads from this site.   We will receive a little credit that will go to Hosting LOL. 

Gotta be honest, I like it simple. I use this at work all the time haha.

@mastermario lol... what are you talking about?  Judged - unless you mean your posts that were deleted lol. 

Anyway... I'm assuming you're trolling here... but you know how to hotlink the images if you do not wish to upload as an attachment.  I am evaluating software at this time... so maybe we will have more xenforo style image attachments in the future.   This is all for future modifications.  It depends on what system is the best for that.  I really like SMF software, but it's not the best for the planned enhancements.  Eh.. decisions and choices.

Check this laptop out. I get it... it's not a gaming machine. I'm sure you could play minecraft, roblox,  or a few other 'light ' games on it... but this laptop looks pretty nice and thin.  I have a thing for laptops that are awesome, tiny , and look cool. They have to be functional though - looks aren't everything.  I also dig the new edge to edge displays. I applaud the near 0 bezels. They look cool and allow the footprint to be smaller while providing a larger screen.

I cannot wait for there to be a heat/thermal break-through for gaming laptops. I'll post a topic on it soon... I bought a dell G5 gaming laptop to tide over a build for a couple more years. It still gets toasty.

How many of you play or played this Tower Defense game?  I'm a big fan of Tower Defense games... they're just a lot of fun and Defense Grid does not disappoint.   There are a good number of towers, features / upgrades for those towers, and a good number of enemies to destroy.  The game looks pretty as well.


Thoughts?  Comments?  Post it up!

@CreepinDeth man.... this is looking better and better.   Dangit Nvidia... I'm trying NOT TO BUILD A PC RIGHT NOW!!!  The price (IMO) It pretty high for the new Nvidia cards.  I know not everyone agrees with me... I think they are high.  But technologies like this are cool.   IT's nice to see GPU's moving ahead and pushing new boundaries.



Does AMD have anything to challenge any of these technologies?  I Hope they start doing something.

OO..... Diablo 3 on the PS3 is pretty good.  Outside the PC version, I'll get the Switch version.

I'd really like to get everyone playing.  The last few times I've tried... I  have stuff happen where I cannot play.  This should all pan out in the next month.

I made more progress in Super Bomberman R on the switch.  It's a really fun game.

@Snatcher_L that's really cool.   We did a road trip for an SNK MVS cabinet once.  I traded a brand new PS2 for it at the time.   I still need to get a new board for it... but it's awesome.


I don't have enough room now, but I'd love to get more cabinets.
