@Boomsickle LOL... I HATE it when healers and medics don't do their work.  They ask where does it hurt... and don't do anything.  You had 1 job... 1 JOB!!!

I have not played this game.  It looks like a fun game.   60 hours... that's a lot of time to put in any game.  It sounds like you're having a good time with it.   Do you have to do a lot of grinding to get anywhere?


I could be wrong, but I though @Mai Valentine or @Kinikko  played this.   Or maybe it was a different title...  lol.

I'm super pumped for Diablo 3 on the switch.  @Bomber Man   hopefully I can get my schedule and stuff cleared so I can just game again.


My guess is you will either move the cursor around with the control stick and then clickity click your way around.... Or maybe do something with the motion controls. Not sure how that would work through.

Either way... super pumped for this title. Hopefully we can get members playing together.

What's funny about that is the GameCube was largely overlooked and it had awesome titles. It really didn't gain in popularity until the Wii was out.  Then you couldn't find GameCube games new or used anywhere for a few years.  It didn't slow down.

Kudos to Nintendo for the backwards compatibility without having to rebuy the digital game - at the time. Now it's changed for all companies again.

I will buy this game.  I support Shoot Em Ups (SHMUPS) on many different platforms.  I love Shmups on handheld platforms.

I do not know the story on this... but it appears to be brought out by Dispatch Games.  Success's name isn't anywhere on here.  Maybe it's a company distributing in the US?    More information is required.

We didn't visit this game as much as other Smash Bros games...   In fact, Super Smash Bros has been somewhat dormant on our Wii U since buying the Wii U in 2015.  I bought the package with Super Smash Bros and Splatoon.

We started breaking this game out the other night... and I tell you... the motion / action is about perfect like Super Smash Bros Melee was on the Gamecube.  Super Smash Bros: Brawl on the Wii was a lot slower... and I just couldn't get into it.

What are your thoughts?  What are your strategies?   What all have you done with this game?  Post it up!

Since Super Smash Bros Ultimate has been announced for the Nintendo Switch, we decided to start playing Super Smash Bros on the Wii U for warmup / Practice.  I'm digging this game.  It's a lot of fun.

I haven't talked about or made a topic on the Neo Geo CD in 5 - 6 years.  I probably haven't broke out my Neo Geo CD since 2013... maybe even 2012.    This SNK system was a center piece for me for many years and was an affordable way to break into to Neo Geo market.   I still owned the Neo Geo AES... but I had far more games on the Neo Geo CD.


So who still owns a NEO GEO CD or CDz system?  What are your thoughts on the system these days?

My last game buy was Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 - US - for the Neo Geo CD.  It is still sealed and new. I think I'm going to leave it sealed now.

Yes... you know, like Lego Harry Potter.  I want the Lego Goonies Game - that covers the full movie.  Like yesterday.   Goonies Music.  HEYYYY YOU GUYSSS... all the above.   

I wasn't talking about the Dimensions game or Goonies Add-on lol.  I would like to get that though, but no... I don't have the portal yet and I missed it when it was on sale.  If you see any more on sale, let me know... I'm still looking.

lol... so... you've already shelved Starlink before you bought it.  And Then you're going to buy it anyway... so you can Shelve it.  That sounds about right.

This is not a full on review.  I pre-ordered this game when it 1st game out on the Wii.   I bought the special edition with the Gold Remote... the Gold remote is really cool.   The design is great, the gold paint has stayed on it (perfect), and BATTERIES HAVE NOT CORRODED IN YET.  That's a plus.  Somehow Batteries corroded in 2 of 4 of my original Wii-Motes.

The game was weird though.   There have been people stating it was "perhaps" better than Ocarina of Time.  The controls were a bit odd with the Remote... and the flying mechanisms controls made me want to punch myself in the face... or throw the remote into the wall.   Overall story was good... but sadly, I never finished the game.

I'm still looking at these... the design is just cool.  It's pretty amazing what they've done with Amiibos - at least in the art styling.

I'd like to see more Metroid Amiibos

If you even remotely liked the original Flashback on the Super Nintendo (Snes)... you will definitely like this game.  It was such a punch in the face 1st playing the game though.   It took me a minute to figure it out and that was frustrating.  I completely forgot a lot of the game.... which is good for the initial play value because it's like never playing the game before LOL.

@targetrasp Idk.. I had a lot of fun with Red Alarm and Mario Tennis.  That's me though.  I get what you mean on the pace of Red Alarm... it was a little slower.  I found it to be a super unique game and a lot of fun. 

I think Red Alarm needs its own topic at some point here.

OK... as mentioned and few other times and also @targetrasp 's post in the Recent Game Happenings thread... We need a Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Nintendo Switch topic.

How many of you own this game?   Who used to play it?  Who is still playing it?

The game looks awesome.  The gameplay looks like it rivals Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask in the awesomeness category... if I dare to say that.    The monsters look cool.  The new battle elements look like they were brilliantly laid out and designed... as well as controls.  The switch has  A LOT of positives in the control realm.  They did a great job designing the Switch... but I digress.

Feel free to write a full review on Zelda: Breath of the Wild if you wish in a new thread and link the threads.  Short reviews go in here.  I have not bought the game, but it's high up on the list.

Let's start this!   I have Spiderman pre-ordered.  I'm hoping it's as good as it looks.    We need a topic for this game.  The collector's edition steelbook (red with white spider logo) looks awesome.  I dig the scheme of that... I want it... lol... but I don't want to buy the full collectors edition.

The hopes are to play this game day one with all the cool kids.

Progress.   We made a bit of progress in Super Smash Bros for the Wii U..  Played the game through a few times and have several of the completion trophies.  Playing it through with duck hunt...  was a bit challenging lol.  We definitely need a Super smash Bros Wii u topic.
