LOL - exactly.  Funny how that happens.

I pre-ordered from Best Buy.  AND now Amazon offered the pre-order.  To your other topic (will respond to it today)... I noticed the discount wasn't offered for Prime.   That's weird... because another game I checked had the discount.   But once the game was ready for pre-order on Amazon, it was less than 2 weeks until launch.

Lol.  I will try not to next time.  I guess when you have to go... when I walked in, I instantly remembered when spartan, grindspine, mastermario and I went there Black Friday shopping a few years back.  Guess I didn't remember how bad it was lol...

I saw the video you posted. Great stuff. It looks and sounds pretty good.  It's hard to get a regular SNES to look right on today's tv... even at the 4:3 settings.  I still have all my old SNES carts... definitely interested in this.

How does it play on the Xbox?   Never have looked to see if it was a port or directly developed.

I get that. I've gone back and forth on the lights.  I still had blue led lights The fans... so it gives off minimal ambient lighting.  I don't like too bright of lights ... or too many.  Just enough for a glow.

Checking in... any other problems with the ads?  lol... exploding or what not.

I always fell asleep playing halo reach campaign. No clue why. Either we just played too late and I crashed or something. Lol.

Yeah, Sony's battery life wasn't the greatest. I agree. The systems did charge fast though. 

Outside Nintendo, no one... and I mean no one has every got the battery life equation correct.  I guess NeonGeo Pocket color did.  Let me rephrase... no one what backlit screens.

I've not heard of this game.  It sounds interesting and I love punny humor.

I've never been a fan of the 'Binding of Isaac...' it just never interested me.

Yes he does lol... he also rushes everything in Dying Light so it's hard to loot without backup there.

Played Super Bomberman R on the switch. Made some progress in the single player campaign. Interesting how they 'evolved' the cut scenes over time.   But playing multiple is super fun.

I bought this game awhile back ... It peaked my interest.  I really haven't broke it out since then... like the majority of my Steam collection.  It appears many other gamers have this syndrome. lol...  And it's time to break this game out.

Do you play Elite Dangerous?   If so... do you like it and what draws you to the game?    Also, do you play it VR?

Campaign - you really don't need all 4 players.   They AI is fine to play with... and people don't have to be the best.  Final Battles are harder that way... but it would be still fun to play.

I see... yeah... they did that with Amazon Video too.   I wasn't happy about it.  They had tons of Free awesome old Nickelodeon programs - AHH Real Monsters, Are you Afraid of the Dark, Doug, Hey Arnold - about 2-3 years ago... they stopped offering them.  The kids and I really liked watching them.

I am pumped for this game.  It would be cool if we could get CDG matches going with Smash Brothers.  The only thing I hope for in this game... is that it has the motion of the Gamecube Super Smash Brother Melee.  Super Smash Brothers Brawl on the Wii was a bit slower paced and not as fun - in my opinion.   I think the Wii U Super Smash Brothers picked up the pace a bit, but I don't have a ton of experience with that one.

Did anyone else make it to the movie?

OK - so I started playing this game.  The motion back and forth  - IE the flying of the aircraft - is still a bit slower than I like.  It takes a bit too long to traverse the screen left to right.   

With that said, the soundtrack is pretty good... I dig it quite a bit.  The copy purchased came with the soundtrack.  There is another version out there without the soundtrack.

Graphics are great.  The power up "cycle" is everything you'd expect from a Raiden game.

I'll write more as I continue to progress through the game.

Man... I love Darius Twin.  Someone traded a copy into my shop a long time ago.  I ended up buying it for myself.  It was one of those "I need this Shmup" games.

Maybe I will break it out over the weekend.  As you mentioned, the music in the game is well done - haunting and enchanting. 

Your CRT is still working?  Unfortunately... none of my old old tvs work and they were tossed about 2 years ago.

Interesting... so no emulation.  A legit chip based system ... but it looks that great on newer HD tvs?

1080p with zero lag the website states. This is actually a pretty cool concept.

yeah - I Won't lie... it's hard to go back to PS1 style games for me at times.  I'll still do it - but it's a bit harder for me.  I consider myself a retro gamer as well.  BUT to be fair, I never thought it looked good when it was new either.   The N64 looked ok... but man... there some games where the fog ruined it.  Other games such as Winback... I thought it added a bit of cool atmosphere.

It's crazy to say the PS3 is / looks "too outdated."  It still looks good.
