Yep, I just searched the store for Korra and it's not there. I have that one as well. I think all I've done is put 5 minutes on it, lol.

I can't believe Korra is gone... the game was alright - not super awesome.. but it was worth the price I paid on sale  Wonder what the problem was.


I think Space Quest was another one removed...  Again... this was created in the King's Quest style.   you controlled your character... then typed "open door" or "pick up object."  You had to figure out what to do.   I will check again to see if it was removed.

I'd like to pick up Hero's quest... again, done in the same style.

well hopefully we can get this coordinated lol...

Maybe I'll start a Necromancer or Crusader.  I haven't really done a Necro build yet.

I've had a few other experiences in VR where it worked better than a 360 controller, but outside of that I'm hard-pressed to find a reason to use a controller over a mouse and keyboard.

Not to derail the thread... but I can give you 1.... Spartan and I found a level in One of the Resident Evil games (the version slipping my mind).   There was 1 level I simply could not perform the actions necessary. It's the FPS one where you play soldier missions and other campaigns / story lines of individual  characters.  The Boss is chasing you up stairs... and you have to spiral around the stair case going up.  I got to a point I simply couldn't complete with a keyboard.

I'm VERY used to keyboard and mouse.

I have Elite Dangerous but not in VR... I mean I have Elite Dangerous VR, but don't have the gear to play VR.  I will try the controller with this game outside VR.  Hopefully will have similar results as you.

Looking to see what we can get started SQUAD wise.  I know Frodus mentioned he wanted to play.

This would be for chilled squads - not serious business - just have fun.

The anality (yes, made up word) of some people can ruin gaming fun.

Totally, I have a super try hard friend who's in the top 1% Solo/Duos First Person that doesn't understand that I usually just play for fun.

We should get a PUBG squad going - get a few members with the understanding it's to be chill

You know... I never thought about that... that would be extraordinarily helpful in that situation.  Then they just have to worry about system storage lol... it's still not enough.  This comment brings a whole new perspective to the topic.

I think my Cobalt version is the same as yours on the left.  I agree with Target... the original GBA without backlight was pretty hard to see.   For example, the Neo Geo Pocket Color without backlight had pretty reflective crystals... the GBA did not - at least the one I had.

The Dimmer Game Boy Advance SP was still fun to play.  I had many nights of playing Advance Wars on that... as well as several Metroid games.

Once the DS game came out (with backward GBA compatibility)... I was using that all the time as my Game Boy Advance and DS player.

what is your preference?  These days - do you like having a physical copy ?  Do you like Digital Copies better and feel physical copies are a burden? 

It used to be the majority wanted the physical copy - Case, insert, CD, manual, cart...etc.  Since Steam as well as digital distribution has caught on (or pushed) more, have preferences changed?

Yeah - I see that... I really want the physical copy.  Digital copies are ok... I'm still a bit  oldschool that I like to have the disc and packaging.  Then again... the disc and packaging really doesn't make a lot of difference these days.   I still like it though.

My understanding is yes this is supposed to be the 1st one.... and it looks like potentially on the Dark Souls 3 Engine.  Not sure if that's been confirmed yet.

Though the worst pages are... when you don't click an ad, but the target area for the link on is almost the entire background.   And then you accidentally click the background and 3 ads cycle on screen.

The designations for music these days are endless.  There are many I don't understand how music fits into them... let alone how to distinguish between then.

That is a 1 man show ... he was doing it all.  Pretty cool too.

It would be cool to do something video game related and music... to create covers and what not.  I know there's been several groups to do it (IE with Contra and many other songs).  That would just be fun to do.

I am working on developing a page that will list all the newest posts.  As I mentioned... I was going to call it community, or Recent replies... or something.  This will be in the links on the left side of the page.  I will be working on different views of topics in the future... and trying to manipulate how they are displayed - paving the way for the future of the site.  We'll see how it pans out.

TMNT is still at the top of my list!   Turtles in Time was an awesome game.  It's been a long time since I played it... but We need a resurgence in games like this.  I never did get around to playing the newer TMNT games.  I've wondered how they are... definitely been tempted

This allows Facebook style notifications where if you're on board and someone posts, a info screen comes up that someone replied to your topic.

This MAY initial load all your replies at once and notify you about everything.   However, once that initial step happens, it should work find from there on out.  IE I had a ton of new replies at 1st... because it was reading the last 24-48 hours... I think it was.

It's just weird... I've tried to get the switch to make that satisfying sound again without luck.  will try some more... and yes, the sound is satisfying.

I am really starting to think about #2 (lolz...).  I think this solves several dilemmas.    If we start going down this route, we probably will end up like EGA a bit again.   But I'm leaning to start adding Sega, SNK (Neo Geo) and others.

Speaking of that, I'm diving head 1st into some development - I'd like to make a full game repository... amongst other features.   I'm starting to get more and more of a picture of where to progress the site.  While browsing Nintendolife, Gamefaqs, IGN, and several other sites...  the condensed board doesn't seem to work as well.  By condensed, I mean trying to cram several gaming systems into 1.  Though several other "articles and discussions" state super specific boards don't work either in this day and age. 


With this... I'm also leaning towards even creating boards for systems and all games.  Not sure about this yet... It's going to take some planning and thought... will be working on ideas this weekend.

With that... thoughts?  ideas? Suggestions?

that's the goal... I HATE ADS that slow browsing, cause browsers to crash, load slow and then reformat the page after the load.  Bad design... not good.

Nope. They're yours as long as you claim them while they're free. I still have all of my games that I got while I still had Xbox Live.

They must've done that to 1-up Sony lol.... since Microsoft didn't have that feature right away but did it to compete with Sony.  Either way... It's cool they let you claim / keep them.   That is a pretty good 1-up

At the bottom of the forum will be a help area... as well as Suggestions / Comments / and Feedback board.

I would like to hear your suggestions and comments... and what you would like to see going forward.  It would also be cool to hear what you like too.

I've been thinking about the site design and looking at sites like NintendoLife, Gamefaqs, IGN, and other gaming forums.  Looking to potentially explode out some of the sections to be more granular - meaning 1 for 1 on systems.  Maybe even create boards for single games for discussions directly on those games.

Also looking to create a link on the left side called Recent Threads, Community, or something like that.  At the beginning... it will be a simple list of all the current discussions.  I hope to develop it to be able to track who has contributed, the ability to follow certain people... but these features will come as time permits.

Please post up your comments and thoughts here... it would be cool to hear your opinions of these "potential" directions.
