I finally got around to cleaning out my luggage from a trip I took in December and found my 3ds with Ever Oasis in it. I started it back up and am still impressed with it. It reminds me of what I loved about games like Dark Cloud and Actraiser. Most of the puzzles are a little easier but every so often there's some stuff worthy of an FAQ, it at least keeps the game interesting and aggravating.

Oooo Actraiser.     Ever Oasis, eh?    I will have to check that out if it reminds you of Actraiser.  I haven't heard that Game title in a long time.  Such good memories with that one.

Right now I'm bouncing between Monster Hunter World and Dragonball FighterZ on PS4. I'm already at around 170 hours into Monster Hunter. It's crazy how addictive it is.

170 hours already?   I need to look into this game as well.  AND... look into a way to find more time to play it. lol

Why don't we just keep one topic on this going instead of a new one every week? lol

I am definitely working on Newegg and Amazon. I will be posting those 2 on the site at some point.  There are some things I need to do before these are in place.  It has to do with site wide settings that I'll explain later in more detail.   Playasia links are now fixed.   

I was playing with all the formatting in regard to our Vvide theme and some of the ad placements don't work with this theme.. but we will adjust as I think we will keep the Vvide theme as our main theme. and remove most others.

I still haven't beaten the original campaign. That last mission is friggin impossible.

yeah... I'm there with you.  Haven't really started Heart of the Swarm OR Legacy of the Void Single player campaign (if it exists in LOTV).

I've been missing playing competitive though... and playing Starcraft 2 in general. 

lol... It's probably not that great.  The few reviews on the site seem to say it's ok.

It's probably just achievement fodder... and something easy to 100%.    Maybe I'll pick it up on a steam sale if it ever goes on sale.

Steam Controller

Check out the steam controller above.  It's basically a wireless PC Gamepad... and yes $50 lol.

It works decently to scroll through your list of games and with platformers... but I really haven't tried a lot of other game genres with it.

yeah... I still need to complete Wings of Liberty single player Campaign.  I've completed part of it but haven't completed it.    I haven't even started Heart of Swarm or Legacy of the Void Campaigns.. if there even was one for Legacy of the void.

I immediately started playing Multiplayer and that's it.

I always went to the YOUTUBE.com webpage instead of using the app.  I have the app on the PS4... but honestly, it's just as easy going to the web page.

I ruined a 32 minute run for these kids.  Lol.

I agree with you... the retro scene totally changed.  The biggest change I noticed as around 2004-2005.  Up until that point, the collectors and classic gaming market was doing extraordinarily well.  It quickly dropped out and continued until 2007.   The markets have been down since then.  Even today, the current gen games don't sell like they used to  Digital Distribution has eaten into physical game sales.   We called this back in the EGA days.   Game Isles have shrunk... and many of the Game Stores have closed.  Many of the family owned retail stores I knew when my business was open... no longer exist.

Good information with the carts too... I've been thinking of doing more threads like this.  Where we can help others identify fake games - carts and cds.

Have you tried linking with https instead of http? It could be saying that because you aren't linking to the secure version of the site.

Also for Bluevoodu, maybe we should also redirect the http version so that you can be everybody is signed in securely?

http should already be redirected to https.   I quickly double checked and tested.  Confirmed.     IE if you go to just www.chickendinnergaming.com, it automatically goes to https://.  Same thing if you go to http://www.chickendinnergaming.com

did you hit the little select next to code to select the entire code for the html link?

I'm not sure why that wouldn't work - that's how I've created most of my links.  You could just try https://www.chickendinnergaming.com and leave it at that if the code is causing errors.

Dealing with the bot invasion on older SMF versions.  That was no fun.  Definitely trying to defend against that too AND trying to find the happy middle ground on this.

I haven't seen anything and our pages appear to be loading pretty quickly... just want to be sure everyone else is seeing the same thing.

One thing I notice when posting in a board that has not been posted to... it takes a 15-30 seconds for that post to show up... almost like waiting for a cache to refresh or something like that.

I mostly play duos/squads. The game isn't that fun to me solo.

I understand that... I have fun with the game solo as well.  IE if I want to just chill and play and not have to worry about a person getting mad because something didn't go there way. 

The anality (yes, made up word) of some people can ruin gaming fun.
