I finally beat Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles on PSP while home sick last night.
#393
But, can it play Crysis?

Is anything other than a main four core processor really necessary for most gaming?  How much is multi-core actually used in gaming?

My Core i5 with a GTX 960 still performs very well on 1080 gaming at 60 fps.

Darius Twin and Dracula X?!  Nice!!

So, PC gaming wins?

That is frustrating.  I have considered getting a Wii just to be able to download Castlevania Rondo of Blood.  If the virtual console is gone, I will never have a reason to pick that one up.

That being said, it has been this long and I have not bought it, so Nintendo will not care since I have not spent the money for it.

Gradius 3 and 4 can be found on the same disc in ps2 format, does it still play like its counterpart on snes? Also why is 5 so expensive?

I've never played 4 or 5, I can't imagine either being better than 3.

I have PS2 Gradius III/IV.

The PS2 Gradius III is Japanese Nintendo hard vs the US release for the SNES.

In Rebels, there is a scene where Maul refers to her, "Two Jedi and a .. part-timer".

I had played Gradius III and Darius Twin back on the SNES and revisited (and beat) both a few years ago on a free Saturday.

I have yet to beat Gradius IV on the PS2 though!

Tekken Bowling is a mini game that appeared in Tekken Tag Tournament and Tekken Tag Tournament 2.  It can also be downloaded as DLC for Tekken 7.

Yoshimitsu and Nina Williams are my crew on Tekken Bowling!

The original is still in a closet in my parents' house somewhere.

Yeah, if I can actually make any time to be on battle.net where Kev does not get me immediately into a game of Oversnatch!

The first X was the third mega man game I beat, with only 2 and 3 before it.

The original was brutal, 2 - 6 weren't difficult, and i don't remember playing 7 on until x. X was my favorite by far. x2 - on i never played either. I've heard they were pretty rough

I did beat Mega Man, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 (only once), along with Mega Man X.  Any Mega Man games after that, including the ZX games, were crazy hard.  I just could not dedicate myself to beating them.  The original series really started getting stale after 4.  5 was playable, but nothing new.  6 was just boring after the originals.  I still think the peak of the series would have been Mega Man 2, 3, and Mega Man X.

Pacman

Pac Man had 256 levels to the end, actually, as did most of those old, seemingly endless arcade style games from the Atari era!

Is it weird that I still have an original NES, the NES Classic, an original SNES, an SNES classic, and still have a working Playstation and am tempted by this?

Of course, it will need to have Tekken 3, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and Castlevania: SOTN to actually be worth it.

Go Old Crown instead.

I have zero thoughts about forum background software.
#413
Get it.  It is a great SC2 expansion and it does share some similarities with the fabled StarCraft Ghost without being first person.
#414
Interested, but having a tough time scheduling game time lately.

As much as I do like Castlevania and Final Fantasy soundtracks.  The Resident Evil (movie from a game) and Mortal Kombat (also movie from a game) soundtracks still stand out.

Lately I have been listening to some of the Nier: Automata soundtrack though.

Take a page from the Clone Wars or Star Wars Rebels cartoons. Thrawn and Asokah are awesome, use them.

So much yes!  Ahsoka is my favorite Jedi.. almost jedi.. not really quite an almost once was retired jedi?

@Grindspine .... weird... we've had a few of those pop up lately.  I'm thinking some of the security is being over zealous... I already have a host ticket open for another one I was encountering.  Let me know if you can get in from this email.  If it's cool, I'd like to test with  you a little on that to I can report it to the host - might be a config issue.

buh... happy afterbirth.

I saw another "403 Forbidden" today.  My birthday is a forbidden topic!

StarCraft the movie!  Oh wait, Starship Troopers did that in the Zerg context.  Oh, StarCraft the movie on the Protoss side!  Wait, was that Independence Day?

I have an NES Classic and SNES Classic, mostly because I had rented many games back around 1990, but not bought some of them that I really enjoyed.

That being said, the nostalgia wears off quickly, much like with my barely played Sonic Mega Collection PS2 title.  On top of the nostalgia being quite temporary, the lack of production made both very hard to get.

At this point, since the original Xbox is not supported, I have considered if it would be worth modifying.
