Even the MVS stuff is getting a little harder to find. The prices don't seems to have spiked nearly as bad on those but there's a lot that's a pain trying to track down.

I had a one slot cab in my living room for years before things like kids and real furniture happened. I passed it on to my younger brother who was supposed to keep it safe for me, but the jerk sold it. I miss that too.

Practicality hit for just a minute and I let mine go. A piece of me died that day. I miss it but it was such a dust collector. I didn't play it enough. I would snag up another collection if I found it out in the wild for anything close to reasonable though.

nope... it's sealed, kinda poor right now or i'd buy a second and tear into it. The japan version along with the tower of power is still sitting in my playasia cart too... 

I wondered why my kid was cleaning off his Minecraft disc today, it musta hit for the consoles too... he mentioned some youtuber had just got back into it as well. Screw updates, just pay pewdiepie to play it, everyone will be drop what they're doing and fire it up again

my beloved 3d tv took the deuce on my one day off this week so instead of fixing it, having it fixed, or reading a book I bought a new tv, that's still sitting in the store because it wouldn't fit in the car. It's not "Jeevs, should I take the beamer or the rolls" but its as first world as I've got in me.

Went to play some games today and the tv started blinking. After tons of troubleshooting and expletives I realized either it was the power cord or something inside the television. Instead of pursuing further I went to best buy and bought a tv, just to figure out the dang thing didn't fit in my car.... I didn't get to play crap. I'll get the maintenance engineer to take a long lunch Monday and stick it in his truck..

Ghostbusters Remastered came out today as a Gamestop exclusive, I picked mine up and plan on playing some Saturday.

please tell me they put the campaign back in, and it's got a coop mode

was this game good? When best buy cleared out all the amiibos I bought every one I could for 1 - 2 dollars and got the game and the amiibo add-on for the older 3ds but never played it. I figured one of the kids would pick it up but they never did either.

Do you remember that time when X-Men and Spiderman was Marvel? The Avengers were some also-ran relic of the 60's... boy did that change once Marvel got their crap together. Sony really benefitted from Marvel's fire-sale when they got into money troubles. Now Disney has the reins and Marvel is gigantic. I wonder what IP Marvel has that could replace the Avengers? This current Marvel Universe kinda had all the Iron Mans, Ms. Marvell, Ant-Man, Dr. Strange, Cap, etc. as side stores and stop gaps until the next Avengers movie came out and pieced it all together. Now that the main course is finished can these other stories really stand on their own without losing some of their value?

110 - 120.... meh I'll buy the standard copy and wait till I find a used copy of the steel book when it's dirt cheap.

I've not played Overwatch on anything although I'm pretty sure we've got at least one copy for the ps4.

I'd be interested if a bunch of CGD people got into it

If you are going to play both you're doing it in the right order but the second is all of the first and then some.

For background noise I left YouTube on. It got stuck on this video game pickup videos that Metal Jesus and Radical Reggie do together. They must have mentioned hundreds of games but two made me stop what I was doing and pay attention, and of course I bought them both this weekend.

Reggie said Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology for the 3ds was Chrono Trigger good. Metal Jesus mentioned Victor Vran had Motorhead in it... that's all it took...

Outside of that I picked up Anthem for ps4 and tales of vesperia for switch cheap last week.

It's likely... kinda want the steel book too... I missed the beta but really wouldn't have had a lot of time anyway.

Links Awakening was in 93' on the Gameboy... Zelda 2 was that balls hard sidescroller with the overworld map...

I'd buy two of them if you could dock it with a television and use wireless controllers.


The only portability I take advantage of is for the snes and nes online portions. Breath of the Wild, monster hunter, every Mario game thus far, etc. aren't as fun on a tiny screen. I'd never get enough use out of a solely portable switch.

Super Mario World - one exit left and I can't find it. I tried all the star world stuff (both key and regular exits) and that one chocolate island (2 I think) where the exit depends on timing and number of coins, and still get a 95...

I think I rented demon's crest once and was not impressed, same still holds.

EDF and Super Ghosts and Goblins is a whole lot harder than I remember. Ghosts and Goblins was my second snes cart and I played the crap out of it. I could beat it without difficulty, now the first stage is a killer.

I'm saving the remainder for later. I've decided to complete SMW before moving on, I think Zelda will be next, maybe finish the first three in sequence..

I've not touched it yet. I've only had small bits of time here and there so I've only played a little SNES online.

Super puyo puyo 2, Super Soccer, Super Tennis, The Legend of Zelda a link to the Past, Super Metroid, Yoshi's Island, Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, Supe Ghouls N Ghosts, Earth Defense Force, Stunt Race FX, StarFox, Pilotwings, Kirby's Dream Land 3, Kirby's Dream Course, Joe and Mac 2, Brawl Brothers, Breath of Fire, Demon's Crest, and F-Zero are up and ready to play today.

I can't imagine the sports titles aging well but I can put some serious time into Zelda, breath of fire, and super Mario world. Super Metroid and Mario Kart are masterpieces and Super Ghouls N Ghosts will take some practice if I ever want to beat it again. I'm excited to try out Joe and Mac 2 and Demon's Crest as I don't remember playing them and EDF is a vague memory. Most look like they'll be some fun.

it is. The American ones released with different numbers than the Japaneese ones, then American ones would release on different systems with the japaneese number scheme. This went on for a little while.


Final Fantasy 3 as I was talking about is Final fantasy 4 in Japan. it was the 4th game in the series released in japan and the third released in north America.

Final fantasy 7 is the 7th final fantasy game in both north American and japan (they got their act strait somewhere after 3 but before 7)

3 and 7 are my all time favorites in the series. I go back and forth on which is tops, but it's always a close call.
