I saw this and thought it was pretty cool.  I think @Grindspine @Mai Valentine and @Kinikko all were playing this game.  Maybe @targetrasp as well.  Lego sure brings out some cool items... and the Lego Horizon Forbidden West Tallneck looks pretty cool.

Has anyone played the original Advanced Wars games?  I used to play these a lot... they were a lot of fun.  Looks like they're re-issuing them for the Nintendo Switch.  They were originally released on the Game Boy Advanced.  There was another game, Advanced Wars Dual Strike, released on the Nintendo DS.

We just finished Stranger things (to date).  It's a bit dark...  but interesting.

Need to switch back to Agents of Shield and finish those... as well as Clone Wars series. 

Throwing this out there... it's been on my mind... Eternals is probably the most disappointing Marvel movie to date.

@CreepinDeth  --> I'm not sure why, but I enjoyed it a lot more than that.  I dug how they started with the end credit scene from Wandavision.   I really dug how the movie was created and the elements they used.  Music was spot on... it was one of the more enjoyable Marvel movies in awhile.

Also, if you have not, at very least, watched the last 4 episodes of The Clone Wars (Season 7, Episodes 9, 10, 11, and 12) after watching Revenge of the Sith, DO IT!  Those episodes shed so much more light on Order 66.

@Grindspine  --> Good advice, I think we will do that soon.  We were watching the seasons at one point.  We made it to 3 I believe, but other stuff took over.  Clone Wars need a topic.

@retro junkie --> pretty good, eh?    I really thought this series is well done... SO FAR.  As I mentioned, I don't like the over acting of 1 of the characters.  But we will see how that pans out.

I'm getting ready to play test Rocky Linux on the "Enterprise" front.  It's looking to be a pretty good CentOS replacement... so far.  I've been hearing good things from those using it.

ugh... that's awful.  I'm wondering how close we are to the point you mentioned.

And you're right... scavenger hunt it is at times!  Sometime last year, I started ordering groceries online and let the employees pick them.  It's been hit any miss at times, but has been pretty good so far.   I figure it gives someone a job as well. They hired many employees for picking groceries and for delivering to cars.  I figure it helps them out... hopefully that's right.

Obi-Wan just started on Disney+ last Friday.  I was SUPER pumped for this this series.  (still am super pumped!)  The quality of the show really appears movie-like.  Many times you can tell it's a series.  You can see this in the outfits, acting quality...etc.   Obi-Wan is of pretty high quality all around... with the exception of 1 overacting person, but I'll address that in future posts.  I want to see where they are taking the mentioned character.

The 1st 2 episodes are out.  Have you seen them? What are you thoughts?  Post it up!

#1 - you take that back.

#2 - Inflation is insane right now.  Wages really have not gone up much either to counteract that $1.00 in 2002 value being equal to $1.61 today.  Wages didn't jump that much.   IMO what's going on right now is not sustainable.

I haven't seen crackers for months.

@retro junkie -->  yeah.. I haven't seen TONS of stuff.  It's hit and miss when going to the store.  It technically takes 2-3 trips now to get everything from 1 order. Siete Chips, kielbasa, many times even some chicken and hamburger have been very hard to get.

Seeing the screenshots your sending is giving me the itch.  It's been a very long time since everyone played.

Right... crypto and a lot of other things are starting to teeter right now.  In the case of Bitcoin, it's still super high.  It sounds like there are a few investors that are a tad worried as they will have margin calls coming if it goes a bit lower.  I mean, 40k to 30k in less than a month. 

I'm starting to wonder if there are broader trends.  I don't believe food, guitars, certain wood products, cars, and several other products will be going back down in price after the latest price increases.  Even as markets and other things settle down.  Houses may... but not below the inflated prices of 2017-2018... I might be surprised by that though.

On guitars... we have seen 30-75% increases.  The bulk hitting 50-75%.  But what's the incentive to lower the prices?   Jackson, Ibanez, AND ESP have stopped taking orders to catch up on their current order queue lol.  Their backlog is 2 years now.  We just had windows done... and they had a pretty long backlog to get windows... let alone the prices kept increasing almost weekly.

We started binging Designated Survivor... and I'm glad I waited until we dug into the 3rd season to post this.

Man... season 1 and 2 was really really good.   Dare I say 24-ish, it had great feel, dialogue, story...etc.   I highly suggest watching season 1 and 2.  Then rolls in season 3.  We were so pumped to watch it.  They decided to add cussing, other mature content, and literally trashed the show with bad writing and pieces that we pushed and out of place.  I get cussing and certain content... but when it's done in such an awkward forced fashion... it's really immature and that's exactly what the show did.  It was like an immature writer picked up the story (at Netflix) and  started painting their narrative into an already well done show. 

A couple examples that did it right --> the Big Short, Hitman's Body Guard.  There are many other great examples.  Season 3... flubbed so hard for us.. we stopped watching it.  This is super disappointing as we were all in to season 1 and 2.

If you try it and like season 3, I'm glad you found something you like.  I cannot recommend the show anymore  though... except season 1 and 2 were extremely well done.

We saw this last weekend.   What in the world did I just watch?! lol    Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness... in my opinion, was a great movie!  It was a borderline horror flick as well.  There were very cool cameos... which I think will lead to new and awesome character involvement!

I'm not going to throw spoilers out there quite yet.  But has anyone else seen this movie?  What did you think?

yeah... it's on the Nintendo Online service now... which is pretty handy on the Switch.  No pun was intended because the Switch is a handheld

It looks like the prices of the Neo Geo Mini have come down... nearly 50% in some cases.   We had many discussions on the Neo Geo Mini.  Fast forward to today, is it worth picking up?  Especially at the lower prices.

Also, Do you think they will be collectors items in the future like the Neo Geo X?

yeah.. this was great.  It was a pretty cool ending... there are parts I REALLY had to think about as well.  At the very end of the series, I had to rewind a few times to fully understand what the heck just happened.

lol... @targetrasp  ... I still haven't played mine.  I'm thinking of selling it at this point and waiting for the next revision.  However, I also want to break this out.  The last 2 months have just been stupid...

I have not had a chance to check this out.  I must have missed it back in the day... this one looks very interesting.  I need to find backlog space for this one.

Good links @Grindspine  ... and It's pretty crazy how high prices are now and how people are still paying the prices plus more!  IE there are lines at elevated prices to buy MANY goods.  Guitars that were once $2600 ish are now fetching $1500-1800 more due to wood prices, embargos..etc.  Cars.. what in the world lol.  Electronics... get in line.  Food is still available, but many specialty products that are not SUPER common and pumped out from companies like Kraft, are still somewhat hard to get.   IE organic, human meats and eggs...etc. 

It's hard to fathom where we are and what a crash would look like at this point.  I don't see how things won't crash at some point.

I'm still trying to order the steelbook and have yet to find it available for preorder.

@targetrasp   are they even offering a steelbook?

I'm not sure to #1... but maybe primitive humans were never really primitive. I mean.. that does make sense and that technological breakthroughs still happened.  IT could be humans always had intelligence (beyond cave people and how they're perceived)... and it's simply technological breakthroughs happened to progress humanity.
