It was too sketchy for me to jump into.

1. Indigogo
2. allegation that the gameplay was from other systems
3. nothing copywrighted
4. no technical specs

theres too many indigogo horror stories - I'd rather not gamble.

My one awesome computer has been taken over by my son and hs VR addiction so my little HP 8200 elite and it's really crappy graphics card has to stay in the Diablo 3 range of computer games.

The last few years have been very console heavy for me as far as purchases. If its on ps4 i'll probably have it to play. I also have all the halo games on xbone via master chief collection and halo 5 as well as Sea of Thieves that i've barely cracked into. I'd love to start any of that. Live is up but I've got two months worth of passes and something continues I have no problem paying for live.

Sunday evenings are great. I rarely get work interruptions on Sundays.

it'd be nice to know what number it was before opening it

I was considering ordering another so I could open and play one but now amazon says it usually ships in 1 to 2 months. Maybe there's not a lot of these..
#905
mine came early, it's still wrapped though...

I don't think there was a lot of hype about this game so i'm guessing there's not going to be a ton of them made. I may keep this copy intact and wait to find a used copy at a game store, or watch them go on sale for cheap somewhere.

luckily Netflix has it so you can review.

They've skipped out on the insane reveals and gone after the Super Sayin type force powers. Luke and friends v. Jabba's gang was badass - Luke v. First Order ... c'mon.

I'd much prefer less GOD MODE and more Luke - remember that night in the cantina 20 something years ago where you drank too much blue milk? Meet your Daughter Rey, who's been mind screwing her cousin... brings back memories of putting the moves on your sister eh? You skywalkers are all alike.

Watch the Ice Ice Baby cover, I busted a gut laughing! Its one of the only covers I've watched so far with some muddy lyrics...

I had a hard time tearing myself away from his channel. He's covered iconic songs spanning the last three decades so there's a nostalgic pull. He just really seems like a fun-loving guy and incorporates that into his work (recorder, guitar / banjo hybrid, tiny drum set, bunny suit).

I just stumbled on Leo Moracchioli's youtube channel and I'm sure its something several of us can appreciate. He does some really cool metal covers of popular songs. Last Friday he did an amazing rendition of Ballroom Blitz that has inspired me to put in Wayne's World after I finish this post.

Guess it really doesn't matter now....

Its really not worth theorizing because as soon as some really interesting theories start springing up they get squashed by the next movie. It's almost like JJ has a million interns combing the internet for theories and making sure none are included in the movies. We'll if they keep it up theres going to be nothing outside of Chewie having a love child with a porg that becomes the next Yoda dangit - I just ruiend it for us all!

Found The limited edition version of Tekken 6 for the 360 at a yard sale for $7.00 CIB. The box was and controller was in good shape but the game was unopened. I also bought GTA 5, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, Xcom, and Skyrim for $2.00 each. I've already got all the games but those were in almost pristine shape.

Oddly enough the arcade stick smells musty or smoky while the games and even the box the stick came in doesn't. I guess it'll go in the clean and repair pile with that filthy gamecube i picked up a little while back.

Wasn't Out of this World the bigger hit? why no crazy remake retro packaging for that one?

Kids already asking for the newest battlepass...

as a rule I shy away from season passes. games lose favor so quickly you can sometimes double the price of the game for fractional return on time spent playing. By the time DLC starts rolling out there's another FPS going that's grabbed attention.

the last additional content I can really say I bought and was worth it was the add on maps for halo 2. I spent a ton of time playing halo 2, well into when the 260 first came out and beyond. after that I've always been disappointed. After boarderlands 2 I was done with DLC - heck, if you skip the game altogether at some point an ultimate edition will come out with everything for free or less than... Horizon Zero Dawn just was on sale somewhere for 10 with everything.

I really believe that if purchased smartly and treated like an investment that a lot of money could be made by buying toys, video games, other collectibles, and putting them up....

I remember at one point a local game store was using a Nintendo 64 as a door stop. Crappy used one from gamestop cost 79.99 now - boxed is well above msrp way back when.

Scalpers and discipline make it difficult for me, and space.

A lot of thought has to be put into it. It'd probably take 30 years before a sealed copy of Burnout Remastered amounted to anything close to what msrp cost but with some research and a little luck who knows.

Parker gets that crap all the time and just deletes it. Once he killed 3 or 4 with one trap he picked up as those same people had him dead to rights. It's like winning an all in hand with a straight you picked up off the river card. Complete luck but it's awesome when it happens and pisses off everyone else involved.

Sequel after sequel ...

Starlink Battle for Atlas looks like it MIGHT be something. The putting the starship on your controller thing bothers me some but i really like the idea of collectables integrating into gameplay and really want a fun space type of game.

Seems like a cash grab. The first Jurassic Park was awesome, the following movies sucked. It'd been so long since the last movies that I couldn't tell if Jurassic World was a reboot or cannon without asking Google (I still don't remember!). I liked Jurassic World but how many times can the audience be expected to believe that we're stupid enough to continue to create predators above us on the food chain. My kids were like meh over the Jurassic World movie, so I may wait till its on one of the movie channels.

the only thing I've had time for has been stupid cell phone word games or 99 cent steam games, 5 minutes here, elevator ride there, etc.

I did manage to play at least 5 minutes of everything on the NES classic when I first got it earlier this month

I'm still on my kick of buying some preordered special collectors edition instead of going to the theater, so I'm going to be a few Marvel movies behind you guys.

Ant Man was surprisingly good so i'm hopeful for the second.

on the financial side AMD has been up 63% during the last 3 months. I bought into them last year when they were trading around 10 / share when the demand on video cards went crazy. That basically seemed to be cancelled out by the lackluster sales of their then processors then. Maybe this new batch continue to push that needle. AMD is consistently undervalued and their earnings per share has surpassed expectations the last two quarters, maybe this can be their breakout.

I've had all AMD processors and cards since the 90's but my last 4 computers have all be Intel / Nvidia. I think 2010 (or so) when the hex core amds first came out was the last amd I built. Almost nothing seemed to take advantage of the extra cores. I hope this all turns out well, but I won't be an early adopter anymore. Theres hardly any payoff to buy these things at enthuisast prices when they're first offerend because nothing takes advantage of it. Benchmark programs aside, nothing on the consumer level gets to take advantage of this stuff for years it seems like.

kid plays like crazy, I downloaded in on my ps4 but it only got used once when my daughter took over my son's PlayStation.

Life has been devoted to work with just enough time left to make sure the kids only have to eat ramen noodles or mcdonalds 2 meals a day (joke - please don't call DSS!). In two weeks we've lost a good 10 employees. I fired someone I really liked because he wasn't catching on quick enough and his replacement was snagged by my boss during the final interview. All the other candidates I have don't do it for me. I've started spending nights and weekends at work focusing on teaching and training. It's completely astonishing how little people really understand about what they're doing. Its taken losing almost 1/4th of the entire workforce to really illuminate the weaknesses. Good news though, this quarter is sucking wind so the lack of laborers will help even out the losses...

I'm sure i would dig this game if i wasn't so busy. I've barely taken the shrink wrap off of the last 10 - 15 games i bought. Good news though, it's downloaded on my playstation and my psn account is current for a long while. maybe by the time you get moved in and find a headset worth playing on i'll be ready to jump in.

muhahaha, it was wishful thinking...

I'll be glad to do it with someone, sometime its just gotta be solid. i'm out of xbox live codes, i'll have to start paying for it again.

speaking of instructions ---

Maybe its because I rarely paid attention to these things until I screwed something up but I just noticed today how almost nothing comes with them anymore.

My boss purchased a google wifi setup with 3 APs for his house. It was the most simple thing I've ever had the luxury of installing. there were directions on how to plug the first one in and connect it to your modem and how to download google wifis app. This was a small sheet that made up part of the packaging for one of the cords.

Bringing it back on topic...

I'm glad this has a bunch of flimsy paper and crap people will lose, soil or throw away because I really plan to just put it up. not even sure if i'll open it.

the stuff that's out there feels like a leap backwards.

shooting stuff - i had tons more fun with the light zapper in the 80s and the super scope six / menacer in the 90's. Nevermind timecrisis, house of the dead, etc during playstation / dreamcast era.

motion controls - WII did it better... if it hadn't been for the white hot burnout snuffed by the shovelware and the mass exodus to apple products this motion control thing could have stuck, and been dang fun without the special ed helmet.

outside of wavebird frisbees and wii mote through the rear projection screen i've never had a worse experience with a controller gimmick (I'm so lieing, the power glove and interactor were unplayable garbage, 12 punches threw three, i almost lost to glass joe). I'm tired of falling over my coffee table and feel like extended play will net a new generation of Quasimodos.

Get this crap in a pair of wireless goggles the size and feel of a set of sunglasses or eyeglasses. THEN trade out those dinky looking motion controllers for set of data gloves (power glove was crap but i love the idea, and bluetooth is better than IR) and make the screen overlay actual vision so wtih a turn of a dial or some gesture you can fade in and out of reality and youve got a household perripheral that'll be capable of so much more than rec room and space pirate trainer.

I got two of the NES Classic Minis, an extra controller, and some controller extensions. I'll put one in a protective case and / or have it graded like I did with the snes classic and play with one.

Happy birthday
#928
ha, nope. I thought 69 was good, since it started out at 100.

actually, you're probably right. It's sat in a box since I bought it. I can't decide where I want it.
#929
does solitaire count?

Cellphone games are mindless time wasters at best. I can't find anything that's donesn't follow the "play for two minutes then pay me" business  model. A hour solving crossword puzzles would cost me 80 bucks on some of those games.

I'm oddly pumped that the game is including instructions.

It seems like a little thing but it's been weird not getting books with new games. It feels like something is missing.
