Once we upgraded to this more current version of SMF, there were way to embed images in your post. Retro and others use these features and this is a quick how-to guide to use these features.
Notes:
1. We have a 2MB upload total size for a single post for now
Process:
1. Using the brotato post example, below the message box where you write your post, there is a "click or drag files here to attach them text." Click that
2. Upload your files - png, jpg and many other formats.
2.5. If you receive an error, more than likely your image format was converted from something else.
3. you will see your images uploaded and there will be an up arrow. If you highlight this arrow, it states "insert." This will insert wherever your cursor is. It's quite handy and you and put the images in many places in your post. Click insert:
insert1.png
4. Finally, there Is a 2nd screen that pops up after you hit the up arrow. This is if you want to adjust size. I typically just use the auto settings. Click Insert:
insert2.png
5. After this step, the images are inserted into your post as code. If you hit the preview button for your post, you can see what your post will look like with the images.
Please let me know if you have any questions on how to use this feature.
