Title: Apple's first foldable iPhone
Post by: BLUEVOODU on July 17, 2025, 10:17:14 PM
@SpartanEvolved sent this one to me... and it's pretty cool, but (imo) not for the price tag. I'd actually really like to try this out.

7.8 inch foldable screen with a 5.5 inch outer screen. Except... it's $2000. The iPhone... and many other phones... are already salty. This is extra salty. For as salty as this is... there are a few saltier options!  :o  :'(

Apple's first foldable iPhone tipped to feature 7.8-inch display, A20 Pro chip, and 48MP cameras (https://www.techspot.com/news/108693-apple-first-foldable-iphone-tipped-feature-78-inch.html)

I really think foldable phones are pretty cool ... ever since I saw the razer reboot that included a foldable screen.  :happydance:

What do you think?  Thoughts? Comments? Post it up!

I think it is cool. But this is really for people that use their iphone like they would a tablet. I personally use my iphone for texting and calling only. I do nothing else on it. That is why an SE third gen suits me. My phone usage is connected with the culture of my generation, I guess. It's a phone.  :))

lol @retro junkie but... this other phone is foldable!  Think about all the awesome stuff you could do with it!

I get what you mean.  I use mine for a lot of note taking and other things as well... including review documents and activities that go along with that.  This would be pretty handy... however, $2000 is extremely salty.  This is where I probably won't buy in because there are so many other uses for that money.
