To kick off the new thread... we just finished up binging Picard.

I feel like we need to watch it again... it feels like parts were missed, or maybe that's the "filler" @targetrasp mentioned in the thread I created about Picard:

I finished SG Universe. I really got into it and enjoyed every minute. Bummer, they left it a cliffhanger and canceled the series. BIG disappointment. They could at least made a TV movie that gave it an ending to satisfy the fans, like they did with Firefly TV series.

I am now starting the British Primeval TV series, on the ROKU channel. I don't know why but I like this series and would love it on DVD, but I have had trouble finding it for region one.

It seems to be getting more and more difficult to find new stuff to binge, Streamers are moving back to the drip feed model and amping up the commercials... wonder where they got the idea?!

With that being said, I've been looking for some deep cuts I've missed. HBO Max has come through so far with Last Ship and Banshee. I finished Banshee and it was pretty great and has Homelander in it! I'm on the last season of Last Ship. also great. Its pacing isn't perfect but there's four seasons and pulling your content from a book or books makes that difficult, but in this case very forgivable.

Prodigal Son is also on Max but harder to recommend. Fantastic show despite following the same formula for the majority of the show. Once it broke that formula and got going it wasn't renewed for another season, leaving on a cliffhanger with no hope of conclusion.

The most recent binge was Frieren: Beyond Journey's End on Netflix. It's soooo good. I ended up buying the physical version so I can still watch it when I eventually cancel Netflix.

I have started watching Star Trek: Enterprise and Deep Space Nine. One episode back to back. On the weekends I have started Star Trek the original series.

@BLUEVOODU when Star Trek: Enterprise and Deep Space Nine first aired back then, I never thought much of both series. I really didn't much like them. Many years later now going back and watching them I have an appreciation for what they were doing with both series. And now I can say I really like them. I think that Deep Space Nine was the only Star Trek series that I felt that they properly had an ending that was good and satisfying.

I've had several shows like that in the past.  For some reason, it's like... ok, I like them now LOL.  It's almost like sauerkraut in a way...

We are going to have to check those series out.  It's time for some Star Trek for sure.

I've started Batman: The Animated Series. I haven't watched it since the 90's and I've never seen all of the episodes. Looking forward to catching up on it.

It's a solid show for an afternoon kid's cartoon. Some of the writing and exposition can be a little shallow because of that but it's still high quality.

I might need to recap that series.   I ended up going back through Are You Afraid of the Dark original series.  That is fun to go back through here and there.

We are watching the new season of The Proof is Out There.
