This is a new movie that's out now!   The Mandalorian and Grogu is the latest Star Wars movie to be released.  Now, I thought this was being released instead of the Mandalorian Season 4.  I HOPE this is not the case and there will someday be a Mandalorian Season 4.  I thought this movie looked a bit different in terms of style but also looks kind of cool - somewhat pumped to see it  :great:

Rotten Tomatoes so far has this respectively at 63% and 89%:

What are your thoughts?  are you going to see this movie? Have you seen the trailers?   Thoughts, comments... post it up!

kinda wish I didn't read the Rotten Tomatoes reviews.

Even the positive reviews are full of left-handed compliments akin to "good for what it is."

I know the internet hates on Disney and Disney has been throwing some slow underhanded pitches for the net nerds to swing at, but I really want to experience some of that star wars magic pre internet taint, then make my own judgment. In all fairness it is trailing Solo, which gives me almost no hope.

I have lost all hope in Disney at this point................

@targetrasp - I stopped reading all review sites.  I get tired of those sites taking away enjoyment.  Maybe they're right, maybe they're not... I want to find out on my own.  This really has helped the bummers and not enjoying certain movies and games.  I get it with the current prices that people don't want to chance it though.  That makes sense.  For me, Games, Movies... and other things (music)... I used to just try it.  There was a magic in the past of finding something you really liked and wading through stuff that was meh.  It seemed more magical. These days, again, I get people don't want to just spend money to randomly find things out

@BLUEVOODU
I have read too many reviews that described the movie as season 4 of the series that has been compressed into a movie. The production quality and standards are the same as what you see on Disney plus. I believe this because it is basically what Disney is all about right now that has been dubbed as "on life support." There has to be a turn around and they need to get out of this hole. It is like they are still making some bad judgement calls.

I am no longer subscribed to Disney plus, the continued increases to the monthly subscription weighing against the thought that it is cheaper to purchase the DVD, blu Ray, disc. And that is what I have been doing. Their recent dumping of their media dept will mean less, limited, releases to physical media. It seems like a panic maneuver on their part to keep Disney plus afloat.

I am thinking that if you liked the series on Disney plus you will probably like the movie, with a little bit of a bad taste in your mouth from the price of admission.

Disney has been a hit or miss with me over these past bunch of years, becoming more of a miss.
