Shmups On The Go - What Mobile Shmups Do You Play?

[BLUEVOODU]

On the go... what Shmups do you play?  What are the best you've found so far? And for what platform?

I'm rather interested in this topic as I'm looking for more Shmups to play and love a good Shmup!

Post it up!

Honestly had never heard of a "shoot 'em up" being called a "shmup" until this topic.

Just PUBG Mobile really.

@mastermario soo..... where have you been? LOL..

This can be for the 3DS... Cell / tablet... any portable device.  I'm looking to get more of these....

Bumping this old topic up.

I was using the PlayStation Vita for many of these Shmups. I was also using The Nintendo 3DS.. there are good Shmups on that platform as well.

Nintendo Switch / Switch 2 have some great Shmups now - IE old Neo Geo Shooters and many more like Raiden.

What are you using for your on the go Shmups?

for some reason I laughed at this.........
mobile? what's that?

honestly there was a time that I carried the smaller form 3DS or DSi in a cargo pants pocket. The shooter I would be carrying was either Space Invaders Extreme 1 or 2. Or Retro Atari to play Centipede. I never played anything on my phone. Don't know if it is just my age but my phone is for calls and texting.

now-a-days I just don't go anywhere.....except to the grocery which I treat it as a go in strike and get out, mission accomplished. There is the Doctor office trip occasionally...but there is usually no wait time.  Those are really the only places that I go that would give any reason to carry anything anymore.

Any mobile gaming I do now is from the sofa or love seat.
