The next in the Marvel series was released earlier this year.  Captain America: Brave New World was the next installment of not only Captain America... but also Marvel.

This movie is well done - in my opinion.  It somewhat follows after Captain America and the Winter Soldier.   Ross is now played by Harrison Ford.. and appears to be trying to change the way he's been in the past.   It seems he's trying to make things right.

Obviously (from trailers) ... you know the Red Hulk is involved.  Anthony Mackie is now Captain America (as you know from Captain America and the Winter Solider).  There are other comments and tie-ins from some of the older movies like The Hulk from 2008.

This is a well done Movie - in my opinion.   Has anyone else checked it out?  What do you think?

Thoughts, Comments... post it up!

I am not the one.  :)) I have been scared to watch it. I have been burned so many times by Marvel and the way they have churned out some of the poor stuff recently. Whenever they release it on Disney+ I will check it out. I am not into going to the theater much anymore, especially since we do not have one locally. Really Thunderbolts is the movie I am looking forward to...................

Anthony Mackie did a great job reprising the role and adding the mantle of Capt. America to his Falcon role. Harrison Ford did not impress in this role. The writing was okay for a Marvel movie, but didn't leave me wowed.

It wasn't the best... but I thought it was a pretty great movie.  Not sure about wowed... and they definitely did hold back a bit.  But I definitely dug the direction of the series so far.

After watching I had to sit back and think about it....................
Because of the trailers I went into that movie with high expectations. I did not know that the red Hulk was going to be the climax of the movie. That alone disappointed me and set the tone of the movie for me. I kept saying, okay now, wait not now? When is he going to turn into the red hulk?

The movie had a lot of super hero action and moments that were satisfying. The writing needed a bit more polish. And I think it was a waste of not having the red hulk early in the movie. His identity did not have to be revealed to the people until the end. The leader, the bad guy, that is what he was called in the comic, should have had his head shaped like the character in the comics.

It is not a movie that I would want to watch again.
