There seem to be several offerings for gaming subscriptions now.  You have the Xbox game Pass, Playstation Network (Extra and above) and several others.

Have you bought into these?   I personally have not.  I tend to buy games I want, they tend to be physical games... but I do utilize services like Steam, Blizzard and others were the games are not really physical anymore.  If you have bought into them, why have you and are they worth it to you?  If you do not, why are you holding out?

Post It up!

I've only done GamePass and that's only because I haven't had to pay for it for the last 4 years. I've been doing the Microsoft Rewards thing where I can redeem the points for monthly subscriptions. However, I think I'm done with it. My GamePass is through the end of January and I think that's enough for me. Don't feel like going through their Rewards system anymore.

In general though, game subscriptions are only as good as the price and for me they're all too expensive.

@CreepinDeth the MS Rewards thing is still going?  Feeling De Ja Vu here...  This used to be the program where you could use Bing search and earn real rewards such as Xbox Live (back in the day) ...etc?

I have drastically reduced subscriptions.   Outside prime, Nintendo and PSN... I believe I have cancelled all other subscription services.  Long story as to what caused the final cuts... but it's done. lol

I was curious though if other programs are worth it. The PSN (IMO) isn't really worth it anymore except for online play... Especially as they restructured the program.

I think they just raised the price of GamePass again but I cancelled mine about a month ago because I just wasn't using it enough. I have enough games to entertain myself for now haha.

I think I've tried gamepass a couple times but
1. I don't have and don't want an xbox
2. I have way too many pc games as it is to play (I have almost 1500 games on steam >.< )

I just don't need game subscriptions, if I want a game I just buy it?  lol.  Plus they're way too expensive.

So far I've been getting my monies worth out of GamePass. I meet up with some people 2 - 3 fridays a month and there's usually something on there we all play. Recently its saved me from buying The Outer Worlds 2 (loved the first one, would have bought this game otherwise) and Monster Train 2. There's at least a new game a month I would have purchased and probably not played that game pass has saved me from.

I build my PCs with tons of disk space so I opt for the PC version of gamepass. Everything seems to work without issue outside of some of the EA offerings and of course when theres a game preview (Smite 2).

They did just increase the price, but still not horrible unless you've got ultimate then it's a bit much.
