I missed this topic 2-3 couple weeks back.  We ended up watching Fantastic Four: first Steps, Marvel's newest edition to the line-up.  There was 2 after credit scenes as well that were worth watching.  Personally, we all loved the movie and thought it was great.   We didn't watch many of the reviews ahead of time as we wanted to stay as neutral as possible.

Who has seen this movie? What are your thoughts?  Are you excited to see this movie if you haven't already?

Post it up!

Someone here has to be interested (or not) in this movie lol.  @CreepinDeth what about you?

waiting for it to hit Disney +. Marvel's first family has never been done well outside of comics, The jessica alba movies were OK, the other one was OK, I'm sure this one will be OK too. Tired of going to movies for OK.

I hear you @targetrasp - Hopefully you find this one good... I thought it was pretty good.  Others seemed to enjoy it as well, and hopefully you do as well.  Post up once you check it!  I'm a bit surprised no one else caught this:

I could've sworn I posted in here. I thoroughly enjoyed it. One of the best Marvel movies in a while. Lots of jumping off points for the rest of the phase and, of course, the new Avengers movie.

I liked that Invisible Woman was actually a key role player. I also wished they did a little more with this version of the Silver Surfer but there's only so much you can fit in the movie.

Can't wait for the sequel.

I did get to check it out and wasn't let down, just not blown away either.

I love the world they created for this movie, it was reminiscent of the 60s comics, a little sci fi, and yet modern feeling. Thing's representation was truer to the comics than in any previous movie or cartoon. The homage to Fantastic Four 1 comic cover was a nice touch as well.

The movie gets a B from me. Norrin Radd, nuff said.

I am 100% with you on the sequel.  I also agree with "more," and 100% right. I think if they stuffed anything else into the movie, it could have detracted a bit.  I could be wrong on that though.
