I'm a little late to this party... however, we just finished up Cobra Kai Season 6.  We had the chance to use a family Netflix account as I've been fairly anti-subscription (or at least reducing subscriptions) in the past year.

Cobra Kai Season 6 was interesting and pretty well done.  The earlier episodes seemed like the fight sequences were a bit more rough (out of practice) ... however, that changed about 30-40% of the way into the season.  Obviously, there was a lot of drama which is par for the cobra Kai course.  There are a lot of twists and turns... especially in the last 3 episodes. This is also the last season... which is pretty crazy (but expected) that this is series finale.

On top of this season, what are your thoughts and memories of the series over the last 7 years?  Your favorites, annoyances...etc.  Feel free to share!    It's crazy how fast the last 7 years have gone and how many life changes have happened since then... it blows my mind a bit.

Thoughts, comments... Post it up!

Loved it despite the cheesy teenie drama.

I'm thrilled they're still expanding upon the Karate Kid universe (odd typing that out loud, guess anything can be made into a universe) - Karate Kid Legends was a fun watch as well.

We really liked it as well.  It's like ... how many times can Johnny and Daniel turn on each other? lol.   Season 6... it's like every other episode.

BTW... you're 100% right @targetrasp, Karate Kid Legends was great!   We absolutely loved that movie.  Ben Wang does well as Li Fong... and Ralph / Jackie Chan don't disappoint.  It will be cool to see where this goes.  We probably need to have a Karate Kid Legends topic.

Was a pretty good season. They almost lost me after season 4. Season 1 had no business being as good as it was. It actually made me subscribe to YouTube Red just so that I could watch it.

So much cheese but it was good cheese. Johnny's story was ultimately handled really well and I'm glad it came back to him as the main character for the last season. William Zabka deserves more recognition for his role in Cobra Kai.

And of course, how can you not love the final fight between Kreese and Silver on the boat?!

LOL... you know, that is a good call out.  I liked that as well.  It has been so long since season 1, I have sort-of forgot the story was more focused on Johnny.  It was cool the focus went back as well.  It was hard to see the Dojo's separate, but they also respectfully separate and utilize each other... which is also a good message --> Everyone has an importance and is needed.

LOL!!   ;D   There was no better ending to Cobra Kai.  Honestly, there is no other way they could end it as well.  However, what do you think are the chances that SOMEONE survived?  Cobra Kai never dies.  :great:
