I used to have paid Spotify but now I don't, and the commercials are annoying.
lol that's a good one.

@targetrasp  That's pretty cool!   I still haven't made it to 4k gaming.  So there's my 1st world problem.   That and Groceries during the pandemic are more expensive..... ......

Bumping up an old thread.

In several topics, I talk about my oled switch and buying it in 2021 but never opening it. However, I bought the Switch 2.  So I opened the OLED Switch, hooked it up for a month and then... put it away after moving to the Switch 2.  This was to ensure it had a little play before going to the Switch 2 lol.  Yes yes... 1st world problems.

lol the OLED Switch is great ... but the Switch 2 definitely is a decent leap ahead of the OLED Switch.

I have collected consoles ever since the Commodore 64. Of all the consoles I did at one point give up the C64 and the Sega Master System. I stopped purchasing and getting into "the next best thing" with the last consoles I purchased being PS3 and XBOX One. And of course I have the Switch lite. The issue is I need to downsize the collection. I have limited space that is over crowded. More like overflowing. I have decided to finally go through each console separately, choose the games that I really liked and had fun with, ones I found a replay value in, keep those and sell the rest on eBay. That would be phase one of the declutter project. Phase two would be horrible to go through. Maybe I can make it easier on myself if I play the CD consoles until they failed. Then it would be easy to just say, "Oh well" and then get rid of the games.

Except for the screen. I'm saddened that Switch 2 is just a regular IPS panel. That's a first world problem for me.

@retro junkie - you know what... I'm sort-of in that same boat.  I've been mulling over a release of my collection of older stuff.  At the end of the day, it would be very hard... but so is the clutter.  The clutter is real.  At what point is the right point?  Would you miss any of the collection?  That's the part I'm thinking about as well... it's material stuff and there are some memories attached.  I'm also thinking of selling my Neo Geo MVS cabinet.

I agree with you.   However, the 1 thing on my mind is the comparison I performed.  With the Switch 2 screen... I couldn't really tell a huge difference between the OLED Switch and the Switch 2.  My guess is that if  I could compare a Switch 2 with OLED and a Switch 2 regular, we would all see a difference. That's not possible, so the OLED Switch 1 versus the IPS Panel Switch 2 comparison didn't lead to a ton of differences.  I'm sure they are there... but to my eyes at the limited time I tested.
