There have been several versions launched.   What Version do you own?   I ended up buying the 1st gen model and then added the 64GB memory card... which I believe was only released in Japan.  I found it absolutely necessary to get the 64GB memory card to hold all the games.  As that filled up, I started deleting games after I platinum'd the games.  What did you find works best and what did you like the best?

We've talked about Sony Re-entering the market in this thread - Check those out as well:
Will Sony Enter the Handheld Market again? PS Vita Successor?
Sony - PS Vita - Who has one and still plays?

We need to do a few more PlayStation Vita Topics and cover those games.

hmmmm....................I have the 1st gen Vita. And I have it out ready to play. Got "World of Final Fantasy" loaded in the cart slot.

Wow old topic. Not sure how I missed this. I miss the heyday of the Vita. I was surprised how much I like this console. I loved this console because you could do so much with it. I took it on business trips at the time and had video conferences with my family on the road using skype. First time I played a Persona game, Persona 4 golden. First time I played online, played Ragnarok Odyssey. I could get email, etc. I had it connected to my PS3. When Sony dropped support for it then everybody dropped it and ran. What had became my favorite system at the time was suddenly abandoned. It was reduced to nothing more than a gaming system. I have the PlayStation console where you can play the games on TV. I really did not use tat very much.

The Vita is still a good handheld, IMO. I don't really think it needs that much improvement. All it needed was support, games.

@retro junkie - I have a Early edition as well and was able to find the Sony branded 64GB memory card ... eventually... that worked well for storing all my games.

Interesting... I didn't play the World of Final Fantasy - we might need a topic on that.  I see the price new still hovers around $31.  I might look into that title.

I used to use the remote play on PS3.. and it worked decently (a bit better) with the PS4, thought the Vita buttons weren't totally mapped right for Call of Duty style games.  I was playing PS4 games from my bed many times though lol.  Yes, there were disconnects at inopportune times.  Though those were not so bad.  I also used the Vita to message people in the network as it was MUCH easier to type and get messages out on the VITA than from the PlayStation console and controller.

Support was a very odd thing with the Vita.  I couldn't totally understand how it received such a low support level from 3rd party developers.  It really did seem like a good platform.  Maybe there was issues with development or something.  I know Nintendo didn't help by cornering most of the market.
