Per pcgamer.com article title and Epic claim --> Epic says its new 'vibe coded' Epic Games Store launcher is faster than Steam.
Vibe Coding is a bit newer, and for those that don't know, Vibe coding is using AI and basically coding something on the fly to "just make it work." It doesn't mean that bad code is imminent, though there can be a tendency for a lot of overweight code... and not properly formatted code at times. AI is getting better at this. However, in some of my work, it's not perfect by ANY means. I find myself correcting the AI on many occasions.
Many companies are pushing use of AI. For some employers, this includes ensuring their employees are using a certain number of tokens per month to ensure their AI usage is happening. We can argue on that bench mark lol, but that's what some companies do.
So what do you think? This is something that's going to continue in the future.
