Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. There seems to be a good amount of buzz around this title... The Fire Emblem series is widely popular. This is also one of the few $80 games right now.
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave looks like it might be cool... but I'm out at $80. For me, it's going to have to be a mind blowing title for $80.

Rate resistance really hits me at the 70-dollar mark when it comes to games. It's been a long time since I've dug into a Fire Emblem game, doens't look like I'm gonna break that streak any time soon.
The last time I paid $80 for a game was when I purchased Bangai-O for the N64 importing it from Japan CIB. That was the most I ever paid for a game. Presently $40 is a strain on the old wallet. I don't have the Switch 2. But upgrading to the next generation is just totally out of my reach now-a-days.
@targetrasp - Rate resistance at $70... for sure... AND that would be a game deemed absolutely necessary considering backlog lol.
@retro junkie --> That's the same price I bought Bangai-O as well for the Nintendo 64 FOREVER ago. It came with N64 converter. Not sure what the current value ie... but that was a fun game. Been a very long time since I have played it. Also, now with the cost of peripherals (https://www.chickendinnergaming.com/forum/general-discussion/the-cost-of-peripherals/) rising, that also makes it hard to adopt for many people. Coupled with.... is It really necessary with Switch 1 still being supported?
