Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is coming out soon --> As of now, it looks like a Thursday, December 4th, 2025 release. This game looks pretty good and is back to the 1st person perspective. This game arrives for both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. You appear to get Enhanced resolution, frame rates and load times for the Switch 2 edition.

LOL... back in the Oled Switch - Have you bought one thread (https://www.chickendinnergaming.com/forum/nintendo-switch-2-switch-3ds-and-wii-u/oled-switch-have-you-bought-one-what-are-your-thoughts/), I mentioned buying the Oled Switch and part of the reason was Metroid Dread... which I didn't open until I unboxed the Switch 2 this year ??? Yeah... I have a problem

Wasn't one of the Metroid releases for the switch difficult to get, at least maybe at first? I vaguely remember not preordering a Metroid, strolling into a best buy, then a gamestop, then a walmart looking for it, only to be disappointed. Now I can't even remember which Metroid it was and if I ever wound up with it.
I'd be slightly afraid of that, on the other hand, a holiday release should have plenty, unless its a Halo themed Xbox...
@targetrasp - I believe that was Metroid Prime Remastered. However, you should be able to get that now... I recently picked it up. If remember right, it was very hard to get at 1st.... or at least I have that memory.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond shouldn't have that problem (knock on wood). I'm definitely interested... but probably not day 1 and hoping for maybe a discount next year (doubt that will happen either lol)
