I recently bought Brotato on Steam and haven't played it a ton yet.
@targetrasp and I were talking about breaking it out multiplayer to see if we can do achievements.
This is a run and gun style game in the same vein as Smash TV and Total Carnage... and other games of that Genre (I would consider Geometry Wars Galaxies very similar as well). You run on a "square" floor and have to avoid mobs coming at you from all directions. You end up shooting in all directions like the mentioned genre examples. There are plenty of achievements, the graphics are pretty good, music is fitting and the action is extremely smooth and satisfying. The price sits at about $4 ... or $8ish with all DLC.

I've been enjoying the game quite a bit. The game play is pretty simple but the massive amounts of weapons, items, and characters make the game. Finding out what synergizes and the God-like scaling when a good build gets completely broken by some RNG keeps me coming back.

I agree! We need to play this again soon,
@targetrasp. I need to figure out the builds a bit better. We were rolled on one of the games LOL. I had an issue with my build and never seemed to get the items I really needed.
Might need to research the builds a bit more.
I did find out while there is a lot of reliance on RNG the shop does lean towards items considered synergistic with the previous choices you've made.

@targetrasp - if you remember, I was getting weird items. But that also could have been "luck."
You have so many achievements now listed on the current progress thread lol. I need to catch up with you. And we need to play again.
