There are some cool things you can do these days with automation. I'm looking to create an automated Doom II server for chickendinnergaming.com as a side project that has all the files and automatically spins up based on certain details. It would shutdown / destroy itself when we stop playing to ensure costs are minimal.
Time has been very limited this month.. but I think it would be a fun project.
