This game looks fairly interesting. Star Wars Zero Company is now available. It is a single player game and one that I might look into when on sale:

The trailer looks quite interesting. I am a fan of certain turn based games. Some Star Wars games have been amazing... others have been hit and miss. Earlier Star Wars games were always amazing to me --> Dark Forces, X-wing, Tie Fighter, The Super Nintendo games... Rogue Squadron and many many others were a big part of my collection.

I'm cautiously optimistic.
EA's lost a lot of credit in the gaming community and it's not just coming from gaming trolls looking for clicks. They've acquired and shut down great publishers, monopolized sports games and because they had no competition, they seemingly stopped innovating - leading to stagnant crap and have highly disappointed with the latest iterations of battle front and Mass Effect. I'm sure there's more, this is just the stuff I can rattle off.
I want to see things go well, not sure how a Saudi private equity firm and Trump's son-in-law owing 20 B to JP Morgan will keep EA from more of the microtransactions, unfinished / rushed slop, and corner cutting that have been EA's SOP as of the last IDK decade or so?!
The trailer looks cool, but I'm waiting for the public to weigh in to see if it's worth buying.
