IT is going on right now... The Steam Summer Sale for 2026! These were always exciting times for me in the past... especially back in the 2010-2014 time frame. I didn't see a lot of good deals that I wanted this year. However, I ended up buying Overload (from the makers of Descent) for a few dollars.

Steam sales of the past have absolutely spoiled me price wise, and I took advantage. Lots of AAA games for about 5 bucks and many I've yet to play.
With such a backlog, I now try to temper myself. If something is $5.00 and under and it looks like something I may play, I'm likely to pick it otherwise I'll wait.
I do want Baulders Gate 3 and Clair Obscura: Expedition 33 and would probably put them to the top of my list of things to play but they're $40 and $45 right now. If they were discounted to $20, I'd partake.

@targetrasp I miss those days lol. On this 2026 Steam Summer sale, I was able to get Overload for about $7-8 (I think it was), so I ended up pulling the trigger as I've been looking for a Descent style game. ANNNDDD so far it's in the backlog.
And ... frickin Brotato... we need to try that 4 player lol.
Who am I kidding, I'll end up buying something no matter what. I don't think I'll spend a ton though.
