The ASUS ROG Xbox Ally is a pretty cool device, though all of these devices have gone up in cost with the GPU, RAM and disk price increases. Prices aside, they are pretty cool devices.
Through these devices, you can play Xbox games, PlayStation Games (several methods), Steam Games... and many more. You can use services like GeForce NOW or Amazon Luna to stream PC games. So it's pretty awesome that the device is multi-use.
Screen comparison:
7.4-inch OLED display --> Ally X20
7-inch IPS LCD display --> Ally X
The price of Admission is steep. $1300 for the X20 and $1000 for the X. The biggest difference is OLED, Weight and the addition of an UHS-II microSD Express card reader are included with the Ally X20 versus the Ally X. At least it's steep from 2 years ago. Thank you AI and other market conditions that have contributed to price increases.
