I do too... I can't wait to see how it plays on the more modern TV's with the proper connections.   It's been awhile since I've really played many Turbo Grafx games.  I think the last time MAY have been when I bought some of the games on Virtual Console on the Wii.

Speaking of which... my Turbo Express still has bit the dust.  I need to figure out how to get it fixed or fix it.

I want this switch Console.  It is pretty cool... the design is fairly unique... though I wish the controllers were slightly different colors.  This looks like something up @Kinikko 's ally as well.

lol @AngelBob  - Nice post on the video. lol... I never really had the intellivision.  I had an Odyssey II as a kid... I think it was.

I found a bunch of old Star Wars toys... pieces and parts.  I'm looking to maybe part with them .... but need to figure out values and what not.

@targetrasp the GI Joe planes were awesome.  I have one of the originals... the Gray F14.  It's beaten up pretty bad.   I also had the black F14 as well.

@retro junkie I have the Exodus Game Boy game... it wasn't a bad title.  It was fairly fun if I remember right.

Dude... your birthday stashes are always fun to see.  There are some really good NES games there too.  I remember Adventure Island... I really dug that game.   HOPEFULLY the Ikari Wartriors is a typo lol... No Ikari Warts here please 

@Jack  They did that with Diablo 3 for the PlayStation 3 ... if I remember right.   I believe they skipped the PlayStation 4 for awhile.  I wonder if that's because they're not really pushing graphics hard...etc.   Your assessment of 2021 is probably right.   Blizzard is notorious for pushing these bac.

@SpartanEvolved Let's launch this again lol.  Spartan and I launched the rough Diablo 3 launch... where it didn't work right and was 1 of the 1st to launch at 3 am EST... or 12am Pacific time.  That was frustrating.   

This is making me want to play Diablo 3 again.

@Grindspine yes - I've been keen on that topic for quite awhile.  It was all the rage back in the Crysis days and after... it really may have started more with Counter-Strike Source.   It probably started earlier than that... but it was really big with those 2 titles alone.

@Polygon I do agree... but that's what I mainly was saying... over 120... I don't know.  There are so many factors that go into it. 

Fair disclosure, I have not updated my gaming monitors...etc... in forever.  I plan to do this in 2-3 years... but not now.  So I'm definitely not using the newest gear.   I used to keep up on upgrades a lot more.. but haven't really since 2013 - 2014.  I've just had other areas funds had to go to.

I still haven't bought anything since the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare... I have other stuff I need to cover right now.  However, I'm really jonesing for some more Lego games.    They're fun to play through.  On the list right now is the Lego Villains game.

you know who we haven't heard from for awhile - @Strubes !  and @MegaDrive20XX  -- what games have you bought lately or been into?

I REALLY hope that December 2020 date is NOT the real deal.    I haven't heard that it's being delayed yet.    Any other news you have found?

The MMO aspect is interesting but I really hope they keep it like Diablo and not wow. That's the 1 thing that would keep me from buying.  Raids ... while they can be cool... I just dont have the time to invest.

I need to review a bit more. I'll post up more on the druid class after reviewing. 

@Jack  yeah... I hear you.  It is cool to go to some of those shows ... but maybe e3 has lost its place. I don't know though.  There's some appeal to as show like E3.  That used to be all the rage.   I was surprised to hear Nintendo backed out a few years ago. In fact, I missed that EA and others did as well.

I don't know. I'm really contemplating selling the collection and recouping the cash. I wish I woulve bought a lot of other stuff and hoarded it from back in the day.  All those us faselei carts I had...  New Saturn units ... etc. Many of these consoles just don't get play anymore.

It would be cool if this home brew would be offered on the Nintendo store. I'd really like to try it out!   This title looks very interesting.

It's official: E3 2020 has been canceled [Updated] - arstechnica.com

It's been cancelled due to Coronavirus.   Not a huge shock right now. 

I didn't realize so many vendors pulled out of E3 in the past.

@Jack  I agree with you... I went in not expecting a ton.  I just wanted to see a Star Wars movie.  I Thought it was fantastic.   Too bad they didn't do more of this from the beginning... but they did tie it together well.

How are the control?   Does it play well compared to other Shmups?   I'm curious!    The reproduction / home brew carts are interesting.  I was actually getting into some of this stuff back in the days of when I ran the business.   I was hoping to maybe create a segment to create games like this in combination with other home brew companies and attempt to sell some of them in the store.    For some of the CD based games with soundtracks... I was going to work on some of the music.

However, this never came to fruition... but it was getting somewhat close at one point.  I had a few people interested and was talking to a few companies.  I don't even remember who they were anymore... 15-16 years later.  I cannot believe it's been that long.


Anyway... cool post!   It's cool to see this work and that home brew is still somewhat alive in this fashion.

you know... I still have my Saturn.  I was thinking of selling it.  I have Nights complete in box with controller, Christmas nights I believe, tempest 2000, Mega Man X4 ... and a few others.  I saw it was going for a decent amount... and was going to sell it.   I played it a few years back... but it just hasn't gotten a lot of play.  Tempest 2000 on the Saturn just wasn't as good as the Atari Jaguar's version... so I really never played it a ton on the Saturn.  Mega Man X4 is pretty good!   So I haven't made the decision to sell it again lol and my 1st decision to sell was derailed.

@AngelBob I tell you... it's weird.  Ever since the update, animations are lagging when playing split screen.  I can only imagine what the issue is at this time.     However, it's cool they have a unified platform... but it's annoying that the performance multiplayer (split screen) isn't as great right now.

Outside of Call of Duty... I have bought 0 games as of late.  I haven't had a chance to play because I've been trying to pass a test... grrrr...

Steambot Chronicles... the name is familiar from a long time ago... but I just cannot remember the game.  Those are pretty solid purchases on the rest!

IDk... @Grindspine I mean... generally once you get above 60fps... I don't think it matters as much.  Definitely if are lower than 60 versus 60 and above... there's a distinct advantage.  But 120-240 fps?  I'm not sure there's really an advantage.
