My cousin and I used to play pokemon stadium for the n64 ... we should create a full on topic on that soon. It wasn't my cup of tea at the time but it still was enjoyable.

I did like me some Pokemon Stadium, that was a good time. Even figured out how to program my GameShark to make me have infinite health sometimes haha.

Never really got into Pokemon Snap, I played it but it was a little slow to me and I didn't really find pictures to be that rewarding.

Pokemon Red will always have a special place in my heart because that was really the first one I ever played. I think it was on Gameboy Color or Gameboy Advanced. IIRC, I also used a Gameboy GameShark to give myself infinite Master Balls and I would go around capturing other trainers' pokemon (in later games I think they took away that ability but I'm pretty sure you could do it in Red and Blue).

I bought Pokemon Sun for my 3DS a while ago and that's been pretty fun too.

So as a test, and as a stop gap, I purchased a TCL Roku 32inch TV, only $138.

This is exactly what I would have suggested after reading the first paragraph haha. Regular HD TVs are so cheap now that I just can't justify paying over $1000 for a 4k. I'd rather buy two 65" LEDs for that price lol.

True, but sometimes you get what you pay for. What good is 65" if it's 65" of horrible color banding and washed out blacks? I went the cheap route with my first HDTV and I wish I had just saved a little more for a better TV. TCL is one of the few exceptions though. They make quality TVs and I would definitely recommend them if you're on a budget. If you have the money though, LG 4K TVs are superb as Mai just reported.

I dunno dude, I feel like maybe you had some bad luck. Since I was old enough to start buying TVs in like 2007, I haven't had a single one crap out. I still have the 37" and a couple of 29"'s from college and the TV in my bedroom is like a 15 year old 65" projection TV that @SpartanEvolved sold me for a couple hundred bucks., just had to replace the lamp in it. I've personally never had to throw out a TV so we just keep stocking up haha.

That's a really nice collection. :)

We were ULTRA lazy tonight and ordered a Caesar salad and antipasto from a pizza place to have delivered. Good stuff haha.
#156
Up to 1854. It's gotta have at least 2500 levels at this point. Too lazy to look it up though haha.

@mastermario @SpartanEvolved I'm still considering overwatch.

Ask @SpartanEvolved about it, he just got one of our friends a newegg discount to buy it for $25 a couple of days ago.

@mastermario how long did it take you to get there in overwatch?

@BLUEVOODU Not long. Less than 10 hours I'd say. I played about 3-4 hours this past Saturday and went from 17 to 24 and then finished up to 25 on Sunday.

You get an exp bonus of I believe 20% for playing in a "group" (can just be one person) and other bonuses for wins, kills, and consecutive games played so you can get there really fast if you're in a good team.

Good call on Tony Hawk, those were some good soundtracks.

I don't know if you can really count Rock Band/Guitar Hero haha. Kinda the whole point of those games was to draw people in and make them fun by using good music lol.

Been playing mostly Overwatch still. Trying to get to level 25 so I can play competitive. At about 17 right meow.
#162
Agree with Mario Party. Loved playing the original Halo co-op. Jet Force Gemini and Perfect Dark on N64 were fun.

My thought is, who cares where they sell it? I don't understand why that's PUBG's concern or problem. All the risk goes to the buyer.
#164
They brought back the 5-man squad, 10 squads per match equivalent a couple of weeks ago but I didn't get a chance to play it. The event modes don't really go long enough.

Can you still request facebook friends for more candy and extra stuff? That also turned me off a bit. Kept getting so many notifications and all candy crush requests.

Yeah but I think I turned off the notifications so they just appear in an in-game inbox that I never check haha. Doesn't really bother me especially because there are are few people I hardly know on Facebook that keep sending me extra lives lol.

Thoughts? Comments?  Post it up!

My initial thought is that this is a spam troll topic but I'll bite. :p

Google tells me that they give away DLC codes with this purchase? That seems odd but it could be worse I suppose haha.

Boy, this is tough. I recently got my private pilot's license so flying has become a little bit of a hobby of mine. I'm pretty high on sports so watching those has always been fun. I play drums so I get to jam out at my church 1-2 times a month. Used to work out but I've been slacking in that area haha. I live in Vegas so I also gamble from time to time, and I also enjoy going to concerts. I golf once every month or so as well. I dunno, I don't like being bored so if I get to a point where I'm doing nothing every night, I'll pick something else up lol.

@Grindspine No go tonight, sorry man. Will be at the Golden Knights hockey game.
#173
Want to join our campaign run? Haha.
#174
iceman288 I believe.

Good to see you again, @Boomsickle! Sorry I missed this post, hope to see you around!

Halo 1 campaign is really good. I remember how terrified I was when they introduced the Flood for the first time. Hate those things.

On legendary, things can get a little repetitive but not too bad. The Library is brutal.

I just picked up both the MC Collection and Halo 5. I'm installing everything on the XBONE and will be messing around with it tonight if anyone wants to join me.

No joke, I'll play through the Halo 5 campaign with you if you haven't started it yet.
#177
I play it when I'm bored, in the car, on a plane, or taking a crap. Passes the time. Can be frustrating at times but I'm at level 1760.
#178
Meh. I still have two working N64s with mostly new controllers and I've found a way to hook it up to my projector, so I don't really have a need for a classic version.
#179
Don't play this anymore but I would. Maybe you should game some more, @BLUEVOODU. :)
#180
What do you use it for and do you like it? I've been considering getting one but I'm really thinking it may be better to wait a couple of years when the game development catches up with the technology and they work out the kinks with the hardware.
