@CreepinDeth this is for you concerning episode 4.

Spoiler: ShowHide
It seems like everyone in the hospital are people from the first three episodes. And this looks like Kang seated at the table, or am I imagining things.

Sweet, thanks!

Episode 5 was absolutely amazing. I sincerely hope they stick the landing with the final episode, but with the way things are going I have faith.

Also Kang from the Loki series was sitting in that white room in episode 4. What?!

Can you point out where and put it in a spoiler tag? I know that there is something in episode 3 regarding Kang but didn't catch anything in Ep. 4.

Another great episode. I wish it was more than 6 episodes but doesn't seem like they have pacing issues like the previous series. So it'll probably be fine.

April results are up and they're still going down!!

I'm hoping to pick up an AMD RX card since I'm now using Linux as my daily driver PC. Things are looking good.

I don't know much about Moon Knight but this series has been consistently good in my opinion. Oscar Isaac is doing a phenomenal job.

Want one for my collection but too many things I want to get first. Had a coworker bring his in to the office and let me try it out. The screen is very nice but not enough for me to get right away since I already have a Switch. Maybe for Christmas.

I have not. I put this project on the back burner for now. Going to start a home server soon. So @BLUEVOODU might hit you up for some assistance when it comes time.  :)

I haven't seen crackers for months.

I'm having trouble getting Pillsbury biscuits. Love these with soup but they're hard to come by these days.

@targetrasp - Word on the street is June for the release. I don't think anything definitive has said.

@BLUEVOODU - Thanks! I'm glad there are a few of you who enjoyed these games as much as I did back in the day. Definitely going to play this on my Steam Deck!  8)

@CreepinDeth  -- we are just finishing season 1 and moving to season 2.  Now I'm pumped to see more after what you mentioned.  It would be interesting if they would play off this a bit more in the new series and movies.  IE with Coulson being alive..etc.  They never really did address it in the movies.

Yeah, never addressed but if I'm not mistaken, Coulson's death has been mentioned once in one of the movies. Can't remember which one at the moment.

I'm still months away from being able to get mine.  Did you get yours yet?

Not yet. I'm in Q2, so between now and June I should be getting that illustrious email. I'm hoping it comes in May. Would be a great birthday present to myself.  ;D

EDIT: Did not receive an email today (they're being sent every Monday.) Only 11 more Mondays left for me to get my purchase email.

So 2 months have passed and prices are consistently coming down! Hopefully this keeps up. Doesn't look like crypto is crashing but it's not being as profitable as it once was. The Best Buy closest to me actually has a few GPUs available to purchase right now. Prices are still not at MSRP but they're cheaper than this time last year.

Here's a video describing what the pricing landscape is looking like right now in March of 2022.

I totally missed this post. I love this show and is in my top 5 of Marvel shows (canon or not.)

A lot of people love Season 2 (and it's definitely where the show really hits its stride) but Season 4 is some of my favorite television ever.

Quote from: BLUEVOODU on February 12, 2022, 12:19:36 PM
Last... I am also confused whether Agents of Shield are considered canon or not.  There's TONS of material and major tie-ins to the movies that ... would only make sense that the show would be canon.  Like Agent Carter, there seems to be more confusion and statements on whether both are canon or not.

It's technically not canon anymore, especially after Season 3 but with the multiverse being a thing, it's possible it could be later on.

You expect me to read all of that with no trailer or game footage?!  :P

Looks decent. The hero has that classic Belmont stance. Might have to try it out one of these days. Wish it was on Game Pass.

As the days go by, more reviews and tutorials are showing up. Word on the street is Q2 folks should start seeing purchasing emails starting in April and should conclude in June. I hope I'm in April!

Valve just released Windows drivers for this machine. Here's Linus trying out the Steam Deck with Windows.

The Ultra NES TMNT was frustration boxed and sold.

I found it funny that they advertised the save and rewind feature just before they showed the game footage of that game.

Today Konami revealed the TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection. This collection contains the following titles -

• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Arcade)
• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (Arcade)
• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES)
• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game (NES)
• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project (NES)
• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (NES)
• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time (Super Nintendo)
• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Super Nintendo)
• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist (Sega Genesis)
• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Sega Genesis)
• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of The Foot Clan (Game Boy)
• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Back From The Sewers (Game Boy)
• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Radical Rescue (Game Boy)

This is easily a day 1 purchase for me. Can't wait to play some of the game boy games again. Fall of the Foot Clan was one of the few GB games I actually owned.

yeah... when it's "asleep," it's orange as long as it has power.   Then it glows blue when there are updates, system updates, messages via the console / Nintendo / other people.  All that was turned off in 2013 or 2014.  Either way... The blue light really prompts interesting memories from that time.

Weird, could be maybe I had some backlog? It did the breathing blue light as soon as I turned it on.

The actual tournament itself was well done. I think the way everything played out was good. It fit the storyline and allowed many of the characters to have growth as opposed to just being purely background bodies to have in their respective teams.

Happy Steam Deck Release Day!!!

New review has been posted by Digital Foundry. I haven't had a chance to watch it all but so far seems impressive.

Now we have a war going on that has caused a surge in crude oil prices. There is fear of a disruption in global energy supplies. Hold on for another round of price hikes!

This is why the U.S. should've been leading the way in alternative, renewable fuel sources rather than continuing to stick to a finite source that is affected very easily by even small global events, let alone a full scale war. We also need to stop desecrating beautiful land just so that we can buy gas for our giant vehicles for a dollar less.

This is also a time to keep an eye on China. They are huge Russian allies and support Putin. If they start to invade Taiwan because they feel it's now the right time to strike then things are going to get really bad and not just for prices on our goods.

@CreepinDeth  --> Wii24 actually still made the Wii glow? They turned that service off... I'm not sure even what update or what the system could've even done to activate the light.

It's not the service that makes it glow, it's the feature itself. It's to show you that Wii24 has been enabled. Otherwise, it's orange I believe. Either way, it's super bright.

I haven't. I've actually stuck with Zorin OS this whole time as my daily driver. Kind of lost the itch to distro hop, lol.

Might pull out my old Dell slim PC and use that to do it.

What benefits are there to using an Enterprise distro? It's never crossed my mind to be honest.

I agree some prices will come down... but the last time I've been able to buy a USA Jackason Guitar for $1150-1200 was back in 1998.  Some of the USA made guitars jumped recently from $2700 to $4400.  Housing prices have only increased hard since 2013... and will never hit the mid 2000's prices ever again unless something catastrophic happens.  Building an i7 rig in 2007/2008 was expensive.  In 2013, building with the same top of the line materials was a bit cheaper.  However, from 2013 on.. prices have been increasing for components.

What incentive do companies have to fix this when companies like Ford are making their best years ever during product shortages because they're charging higher prices due to short supply...?  There's really no incentive to fix the scenario.  I'm sure they will or will be forced to at some point.  Hopefully it will come to an end and prices level out.

Exactly, there's no incentive to fix the scenario. Even if supply of essential components return to pre-covid normal, the companies aren't going to drop their prices all of a sudden. They'll just create an artificial shortage or raise prices again. The only way this stops is if people stop buying. This is why scalpers are so prevalent as we talked about in another thread. People are paying the inflated prices.

Sometimes you don't have a choice because what you need is essential so you pay the price but people should vote with their wallet when it comes to non-essential items.

That whole All Valley board room scene, the debate scene, the female recruiting scene, the Prom/Pool scene. I'll stop there, lol.

Seems like they can now go in a different direction than the usual dojo affiliations, which is very nice. Times have changed and they need to adapt. "They" as in LaRusso and Lawrence.
#207
They probably won't. It's all about demand. If people are paying these prices then the companies have no incentives to drop the prices.

There may be shortages of essential components in a lot of industries, but that doesn't stop corporations from posting record profits during this time.

So disappointed this was a season FINALE...  Happy it's only a season finale... but these shows (IE Hawkeye, Loki, and Boba Fett) could EASILY have been extended 2-3 more shows.
It is not like they are under any type of time restraints, like a normal network TV program. They could have had the finale go 90 minutes. The episodes could be the length needed to tell that particular chapter of the story, like a book.

I have ended up with mixed feelings about the series as a whole so far.

I think it's more of a budget constraint. The longer the runtime, or more episodes, just means more money spent on CGI plus the actors salaries. I can't imagine how much money it took to do Luke Skywalker in this show.

The Disny WOW blu-ray that I mentioned before is a good disc to have. It comes with the blue filter for calibrating colors on non-HDR televisions. Helps a ton.
