I know this is a bit of an older video... but noticed it was showing off an old Gameboy Cartridge styled Steelbook.   Now... I bought the special edition and it definitely didn't come with this.... I wish it did!  There was also a Pin.   What mine came with was the sound track, game, and a reversible case insert that made it look like Samus Returns Gameboy Box - which was kind of cool.

@targetrasp I have to start calling you double - O negative now lol.  I also noticed recently  good amount of my buys have been rehashes.  Worthy rehashes... but rehashes all the same.

@retro junkie yeah... we do that with most movies. There's a select few - Star Wars, marvel movies....  Etc.... That we go to see.

I personally really enjoy imax movies. But they are pricey.  I definitely want to see this movie again. We didn't see Thor ragnarok before hand... but ended up buying it the day after lol.   Ah I wish I saw it before hand now.  That was such a good movie too.

I never thought I would see the old EGA community reunited under another name. I like it though! I'll be seeing you all around.

Pumped... though I don't know if I'll buy another copy of the game.  HOWEVER... having Ikaruga on a mobile Platform I can take anywhere... that would be awesome.  It appears the price will be $15... which is a bit hefty for a digital game IMO.  There will be Online Coop... That sounds like it would be fun.

This really isn't shocking.  The article mentions Pokémon Go and the success from that game... It appears they're going to start loosening their belt and bring more games to Mobile platforms.  This would be a big difference from how Nintendo has conducted business in the past.   

Interesting aspect of this article - They stated Pokémon Go was more popular than Facebook

One thing I noticed tonight is we keep experiencing lag just before we die.  Not all the time but there are occasions it's ridiculous.  It's like .... it freezes and you hope it froze on their screen as well and you'll make it out  alive.... but... that's never the case.   I don't get why this happens.

I mean at the end of the day... it's real.  Is some over played?  yes... and it's normally played when Murphy's law kicks it.  It's the 1 time when you really didn't need it to matter.  Like... when you're working on a $300-500k system LOL...

Tons of people at my work play Fortnite, but I can't seem to get into the battle-royale style games.  They're just too weirdly paced for me.  Not my thing.  =/

EMI is something I've experienced ... it definitely can have an impact. As long as cables are ran correctly and the proper type of cable are used... there shouldn't be an issue.  It's more of a concern to me than anything else.   I've never used the anti-static wrist bands... but I've seen a couple IBM techs use them when working on our main systems.  I don't use them when working on those systems.

It's not as much of a concern in most office places but in manufacturing type facilities, it's more of a concern.  Shop floors with high voltage power overhead (such as press machine rows) requires additional planning.

I've continually had to stop myself from buying the newest atgames sega genesis model 1 looking console PRAYING this will come to the ps4.

LOL... You've been able to avoid it so far!  But cannot avoid it forever.

I'm surprised we never saw anything like this on PS3.  I remember customers would ask for the PS2 version quite a bit.  The used copies flowed pretty well... although they weren't super popular.

I wonder if we'll see these on PS4 at all... or if the Ps2 releases are it... or if they'll just be PSN store downloads and that's it.

My son has tried and tried to get me to play this with him. He'll have some brilliant games, then he'll look like a typical 7 year old on others. He really enjoys it, and even gets pissy when he has a bad game (it's hilarious). At some point i'll probably break down and download it on my ps4 so we can play, it's just not grabbed my already scattered attention yet.

@targetrasp LOL... my son as well.  It is funny.  Give it a go... it's free and pretty fun especially if you guys play squads.

@Aya-Kun I know what you mean... I was on the fence just like that.  I enjoyed playing PUBG and liked the format of PUBG.... but was convinced to play this.  After about 2 hours of playing, I started to get into the game.   It took a bit to get into.

Magnets... It takes a very large magnet to ruin magnetic data based hard drives.   Certain magnets can cause room keys to not work... can mess with the internal magnets in cell phones (or magnetize other metal parts in the cell causing issues)... and they can cause issues with pace makers.    But causing issues with your routers... slim to none chance in my opinion.

EMI can mess network connections... but it's not going to cause your router to reset and to have to reconfigure your devices. 

What did you do when you moved it around?  Did you just pick it up and move it?  Chords appear to be dangling from them bottom. 

Assuming they handled all this level 1 and 2  stuff but throwing it out there:
Did you try moving individual Ethernet cables to see if the problem exists on 1 port without unplugging....  And then unplugging one at a time ( to rule out fault port)?  Did you try new cables (properly created cables etc)? Does if happen of you touch or move an antenna?


It sounds like a 'short' ... or faulty connection to the board. Doesn't sound like a power issue.

I've not seen this exactly but I've seen a link system wireless access point -  wap54g - do some weird stuff such as drop wireless connections but SID is still present. Apple devices made this happen more than anything else.  Lights would be on except wireless link light off.

We've been playing FortNite quite a bit lately... by we've... I mean not me LOL    We downloaded the PS4 version.

The game feels less glitchy than PUBG, however... I'm starting to notice skill levels are going up in FortNite.  What do I mean?  People are getting better.  When we 1st started playing, we would go through and get 3-5 kills in a round.   Now... it has been hard to get 1-2.

Overall ... the game is pretty fun and free to play, Seems more stable than other games of similar type, and did I mention fun?

I'm curious how many of you currently play... maybe we should try to squad up sometime.

@Aya-Kun exactly on the price tag. These are pretty detailed and cool looking... but the price tag can be hefty.  Like the Metroid Amiibos...  I think they are still $30 for both at Gamestop.   But amazon and other places have them for $38-45 or more.

I've already bought my ticket for tonight. It's going to be great, I think

I thought it was an awesome movie. Well done!  I'd like to go see it again. I really need to catch up on many of the older movies. Watch them all in a weekend lol.

Now I remember why I preferred the 360 over the ps3... The achievement system is so much more satisfying then the ps3's trophies.

I don't know about that ... I dig the trophy system more than the achievements system on Xbox

Man... Linkin Park's 1st 2 albums were great.    The Live concert with Jay-Z was pretty cool as well... There's a good series of them on Youtube.

Shot the moon is right - and no on thought that was going to happen lol    What... the original Obi Wan Kenobi (I think it was) didn't want to anything to do with it afterwards.  Bad mistake.

Kevin Smith is a great example of this as well.  I went to see him once in the Pabst Theatre lol... and he said "I can't make movies like that anymore... life has progressed... I'm not in the same scenarios.  I was broke and poor back then.. things have panned out now."  That's not a verbatim quote by the way.

Defiantly prefer physical copies, I really like my collectors editions even if I don't buy as many as I used.

Only really buy a digital copy of it if there is something on sale in the store that is pretty cheap and I don't mind but there is always a chance of buying a digital copy and not liking a game and then your stuck with it or its a game that you finish in a day at least a physical form I can sell it later

@Aya-Kun I bought all the Diablo 3 and StarCraft 2 Special Editions.... Blizzard makes really cool boxes for the collectors editions as well.   I used to like limited and collectors editions more... but not so much as of late... just because they tend to have "digital" bonuses now.  I really like the STEEL BOOK  cases when they are offered... those are pretty cool.

The COD kick continues - I blew through three more missions last night in Ghosts.

On to ghosts now? Still need to install WW2... maybe we can join up Multiplayer sometime lol ... Game ADD....

I made more progress on Samus returns last night... before I passed out.   Fell asleep with 3DS on again... almost smacked my face.

I never played it until like now so I don't know if there were issues that were fixed or whatnot. I did hear about horrible multiplayer when it launched but I don't have Live to test that out.

Really, I'd just love to play ODST again and I don't remember if that's on the Master Chief Collection or not.

@Mai Valentine   -  @mastermario @SpartanEvolved @Grindspine  and I finished this during a LAN many years ago... it was pretty fun.  But I found ODST to be doing the same thing every quest.  Run somewhere.  Fight same enemies (exact same)... collect said thing.  Rinse, repeat.  But it was fun to do this during the LAN.   I don't renew my Live membership anymore... and haven't turned my 360 on in... forever.

I'd love to play halo 2 multiplayer again

That would be awesome to Get a Chickendinnergaming session going with Halo2    I still want to get one going with Diablo 3....

Not sure how Doom is, haven't had time to really play anything lately. >.<

Is Lego Hobbit a decent game? I think you said you were working on 100% it right?

@Kinikko Looks like I missed this question.   Lego Hobbit is fun but has been hard to concentrate on... I need to get back at it.  It's a different format than other Lego Games I've played.   I'll create a topic at some point.  You normally have a story mode... and then an "adventure" or free roam mode.  This one seems to have several different objective quests per level.  You gain bricks by doing those - I'm not far into the game at this point to give more than that.

Sea of Thieves is an exclusive that came out towards the end of march. It's a pretty cool take on an mmo with a pirate setting.

We are headed there in the VERY near future    I'm pumped to see the movie... looks like it's getting good reviews.  The trailers look Great!   I hear Josh Brolin (Goonies - HEEYYYY YOUUU gguyysssss) is Thanos?  That's pretty crazy.
