An entire PS5 now costs less than 64GB of DDR5 memory, even after a discount — simple memory kit jumps to $600 due to DRAM shortage, and it's expected to get worse into 2026


Well, if you were planning on building a gaming PC anytime soon, make sure to plan for this. 64GB of RAM used to be around $150 or less. Now it's as much as PS5 Pro!!

AI is completely decimating supply and leaving us plebs with outrageous prices.

Fortunately (I guess  ) gamers don't really need 64GB and can get by with 16GB, but wow, these prices are insane.
